Is it the original text?
Because it's wrote by a lawyer and I can understand it, even in english.
I can't believe it...
Does he really hope anything?

Why's Jack Thompson a red card? I think a blue deck, with all the frustrating counterspells is a better representation of Jack Thompson's annoying, time wasting legal style.

I think Mr. Tompson has just brought his pocket knife to a gun fight.
And Microsoft has AK-47's.

He's just a rightwing politics lobbyist. The conservative politicians that want USA (or the world) back to the controling dark ages use men like him to dig out "facts" just to rant about how dangerous a thing is for society, how it will destroy it. Here's a fact about these people and what they were crusading against in past decades.

Humanity survived hard rock in the seventies
Humanity survived video violence in the eighties
Humanity will survive games througe the ninties and twothousands as well

Then he usually draws the games as the cause of all the tragic schoolshootings. The fact there is that all the parts of the modern world has the same nutcases and abused young people in schools. And the same games are everywhere. Right out of my head I can only name one shooting outside USA but you should considder why it has happened more often in the USA?

If he'd only start talking about the unregulated content in print (some descriptions of blood and gore in Holmes is pretty graphic if memory serves, as I read the stories in the sixth grade or so), or the NRA giving kids shooting lessons, he'd have some semblance of respectability.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Thompson. The correct answer was Conan O'Brian. Yes, O'Brian was the correct weapon for whenever facing Chuck Norris. Sorry."

Guy's honestly trying to make a fool of himself it seems, like Microsoft will even give his petty threats a second glance. The guy is just asking the world to think he's only going to waste more peoples time, I hope Microsoft rips him a new one.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Some people just get too passionate about their cause before even doing any thinking about it first. Most people think "Should I support it?" However they never think, "Are we making a reasonable claim?"

In this case the answer is NO! Microsoft is not a retailer. END OF STORY! It is not possible for Microsoft to regulate this! What are they going to do? Go to Best Buy and say, "um...I'm sorry but I heard you sell to minors and well we've decided after spending money on validating this claim that it was true. Now we would like you to stop doing this otherwise we are going to have to stop making money from you." God this law person is stupid!

It reminds me of PETA. PETA protests kill shelters but do they offer any solutions other than saying, "Don't kill the animals! It's wrong!" The shelter needs to deal with the animals otherwise the city would be over run.

Does PETA ever say "We'll give you money to expand your resources so you don't need to kill animals"? No.

This is the same thing. "Stop selling to kids Microsoft! We aren't going to offer any solutions because we're too stupid to think that far ahead. We just know that it's wrong and you should do SOMETHING about it."
