I might not have been in a serious accident yesterday morning but I was scared nonetheless. Managed to rearend someone after my brakes locked up. I jumped out of my car and ran to the lady's without even thinking of my own safety (since the two lane highway is very busy in the morning and I opened my door without checking to see if anyone was coming). Fortunately there were no children in either car and I slowed down enough so that I didn't get hurt or hurt the woman driving the other car. The damage was a scratched up bumper on a red convertible mustang and my brother's taurus' hood was smashed in a bit but can still latch. On top of that I have a 107 dollar ticket for careless driving and a four hour driving class to go to to avoid three points on my license. If I'm lucky my insurance won't go up! x.x

That sucks, accidents are just about always like that regardless of severity, good you and the other driver were alright. As for the insurance thing you can hope not, odds are it won't get reported to em for a little while but will probably end up going up, or ya might just luck out over all. Anyways best of luck with that situation, hopefully it doesn't end up causing too much trouble.

Yikes. Glad to hear no one was permanently injured.

Thats good to hear, no one is hurt.

But I remember my first accident. It was very minor, I had been up all night writing a report, and I was on my way to get some breakfast and wake up. Well, I lightly bumped the woman in front of me at a red light. Nothing serious, but I know what you mean. Its a really scary thing to be in a wreck, so it's a good thing that no one was hurt.
