You beat me to it....

Another one I like,

"Worry less, because worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum."

and "be careful who's advice you take, Advice is a just a form of nostalgia, a way of fishing the past out of the garbage, dusting it off, and recycling it for more than it's worth"

"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant and vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V."

V, V for Vendetta

Best. Introduction. Ever.

I can only agree with you Talaisan. I absolutely LOVE that introduction. I must assume you saw the movie on TV last night as well? (or well, at least it was on TV in Belgium last night :P ).

Hatefully as it is to say, I have troubles pronoucing it all :( .

That movie owns.

"You know your god is false when he hates all the same people you do."
"Perhaps the reason an atheist can't find god is the same reason a thief cannot find a policeman"

Parallel lines are pretty meaningful to me. They just keep on going, never meeting each other, yet they're so similar...really makes you think about life, huh?

Not only is that an awesome thought, but it's a great play on words... nice one. =^.^=

But, yeah, makes you think... Wow, I got really depressed in the last five seconds...

But, here's one; actually, it's an entire song. Sorry if it's worthy of the TL;DR trophy:

Elton John wrote:
There's a calm surrender
To the rush of day,
When the heat of a rolling wind
Can't be turned away

An enchanted moment,
And it sees me through
It's enough for this restless warrior
Just to be with you

And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far

And can you feel the love tonight,
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

There's a time for everyone,
If they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope
Moves us all in turn

There's a rhyme and reason
To the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager
Beats in time with yours

And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far

And can you feel the love tonight,
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

Yeah, Lion King, har har, but I really like this song... Kudos to senor Copy an senora Paste.

Heh, thanks! Don't let it get you down, though. There are parallel lines, but there are perpendicular lines, too.

O.o

I think I have an idea for a stop-action video...

"And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti."

"And when I vest my flashing sword And my hand takes hold in judgement I will take vengeance upon mine enemies And I will repay those who hase me O Lord, raise me to Thy right hand And count me amoung Thy saints.

"Whosoever shed last blood. By man shall his blood be shed. For immunity of god make he the man. Destroy all that which is evil. So that which is good may flourish. And I shall count thee amoung my favoured sheep. And you shall have the protection of all the angels in heaven.

"Never shall innocent blood be shed. Yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river. The three shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeaful striking hammer of God."
