I smoked for about 5 years then quit almost 2 years ago. Yea not too fun. I never tried the patches, only had the gum here. They said the Patches would give you vivid dreams, but I didn't know it went as far as you can smell things also, wow.

Am I the only one that has submersive dreams, then?

About the only chemical I knowingly put in my system is caffiene, and I've had vivid dreams off and on for seems like forever.

Hey, Wynni, did you change your avatar?
And yeah, my dreams always have been unpredictable but awesome. I love dreams! But, possibly for another thread, what do they mean??

You want dreams? So be it, just play the following mp3 file in a loop while you sleep.
http://www.filedropper.com/binauralbeatdream
It's a very low frequency binaural beat that induces more frequent, more vivid dreams. The frequency that it plays at is about 225 hertz and the beat is set to 3 hertz. The sound is completely harmless and in fact is a far safer way to induce dreams than taking any kind of substance. Before finding out about binaural beats I would only dream a few times a month because I tend to overwork myself, but then I tried it for a week and all seven nights I had vivid dreams with a very good memory of what happened in them. Since then, whenever I felt that I wanted to definitely dream I would play it while I sleep, failing only once in the 6 or so months that I used it.
Although it is known that not everyone responds to it as well as others I am confident that for most of you that gives it a shot will find it to work.

There are also beats that will aid in inducing deep, restorative sleep. As well as ones that can aid in calming a person or increasing their level of alertness. And at beat frequencies over 40 hertz it can even accelerate one's problem-solving skills.

Here is a link on the subject http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats
