I believe this comic would jump the shark if that were to happen during the actual plotline. Why would anyone want Trace, Flora and co. to be weighed down by a load of (or even one) helpless babies? Having this happen afterward would be fine, though- possibly as part of an epilogue. Provided Flora survives (she could die in childbirth or in another, more violent way). One of the late 2005 fillers did seem to foreshadow Flora's death.

In any case, it's been less than a day so far since Trace and Flora conjugated their relationship- Flora won't be popping out the hybrid(s) for a while yet, even taking the faster Keidran pregnancy cycle into account.
