I know my opinion is probably way too late, (though i hope not) but i was only recently 'pointed' towards this comic.

when i was first told about the comic, i was truly skeptical if i would like it because i had never heard about it before, and wasnt sure how the storyline would be. when i saw the 1st page i thought, 'ok, this might be decent.'

as i progressed through the story i fell in love with the it.
the characters were great, the story was great.
i may be a guy, but i like to see romance, and ppl falling in love, and being happy, and the trouble they have to go through and how everything just falls together. (part of the reason i play the Final Fantasy series)

ive already read through the comic twice. and glad i did because some things i htought were one way, i found out were another, in a good way though, lol.

honestly, heres my 2 cents;

i like the story as it was, i dont believe any changes whatsoever should be made. the way the art progressively gets more detailed than it already was shows the artists progression, and skill. the storyline is good as is, it really makes you love the cast, the way they are.
the way it was origionally done shows the expression, and feel the artist (Tom) had, and wanted to portray. i love the way the comic 'is' and honestly in a book, (though it may be too late, and the final decisions already made) i think should be how it origionally was.

reading this comic, and seeing the art has actually inspired me to start drawing again.

i apologize for not only making a new topic, but for my overly long post. its just how i express myself :/ .

but anyways. love the comic, and hope you keep the book how it is in the comic.

thank you for taking the time to read this. and keep up the good work, i look forward to this comic going on for a long time yet.

sorry for a double post, but its been a few days, and only gotten pageviews, but no replies. so, lol here goes.

since ive only come to the comic recently, and i see a lot about this or that about the books, but i haven't read all the forum posts, i am unsure if the book is actually out or not. (i dont know because i read a post todaysaying 'goes to camp at a bookstore') so just wondering if the book is out alreay, and i just dont know. or if the person was simply making a statement.

thank you for reading ^^

You don't have to apologize for the double post if you use the Edit button. >_>

Also, no, the book is not out yet, and I don't know whether or not it's coming to actual stores or if it will be sold online only.

Is it me or people being inspired by this comic or what. And I agree there should be no changes. it is awesome as is. I think Tom has Put on the back burner right now he is a little busy

It inspired me to draw again too.

I drew some fan art earlier this week but I don't have a fax machine.

Weird. Inspired me too. Although it took me until I got to Keith to really like the story.

I was kinda skeptical at first, too, but yeah, I fell in love with it as it progressed. I'm a hopeless romantic, as my friends say, and it's always nice to read a work like 2K that re-ignites that spark in me, ya know? It also very much inspired me - I have a comic written out that I never really thought would amount to much - but it's waiting on me learning how to draw, heh...

As for the book, I can't see any changes being necessary, either. I'll be happy with whatever Tom throws at us, but they do say the original is always the best...

Isn't it funny, though? Something as seemingly stupid as a comic can change so many lives... =^.^=

i thought the same thing after a few pages i was yawning. 4 hours later and a couple hundred pages later i had finished it twice and since then read the archive over another 2 times

wow my comment seems to be quite redundant

I'd be willing to shell out 100$+ for the complete anthology whenever the comic ends, no matter what he did with it. As long as it has the beautiful art and the great storyline, I'm happy

Well, the main changes he is makeing is improving backgrounds and drawing in the characters in better not that they weren't good before though. the words are all the same.
