Earlier, I couldn't get connected to the forum, some page popped up saying something about Tom having the max amount of user connected or something. it was just a random white page with a block of text probably 7 or 8 lines with code and words

Has anyone experienced something like this before?

Not with the TwoKinds forum, though I've seen it on other sites (with sad regularity on some).

It's a message from the webserver that the database which provides all the information from the forums refused to talk to it. The database claimed that too many people already had connections to it and it couldn't handle more.

AnaKuro's forum bit the dust yesterday because of that, seems to be down still.

The reason the glitch happened here was because either by some fluke, the forum actually had too many people on for it to handle, or more likely someone leaned on the "enter" key with a forum link highlighted and refreshed it way too much, too fast.

I did this on accident while trying to mess with the view count of one of Fooby's threads. Refreshing way too fast, the forum downed itself probably because it thought it was receiving a DDoS attack. Was back up seconds later.

sql error. Got it moments ago in Redemption, was trying to post and pressed enter like twice to try to send the post...no dice. Retyped it and it sent just now. Weird...never got that message before.

Got it a second ago too.

I wouldn't worry, seems to fix itself within seconds.

I got it too, and almost started a thread about it. Luckly I saw this and saved myself the embarassment.
