you linc is brokezor!
<oblig>
I wouldn't pay $600 (or anything for that matter) for a "PDA" that may not even support flash and is locked in to a service plan with at&t and doesn't come with any api and uses safari.
I'd sooner waste my money on 2 or three psp paperweights

"but it zooms when you touch the screen and automatically flips and has wi fi support and will satisfy your wife sexually!"
1. big whoop
2. if I pay $600 for anything it had better come with wi fi; be it a toaster, a mellon baller, or a electric razor
3. so?

"what about the business people that live their lives on the phone/pda"

a lot of phones/pda/handhelds have do what the iPhone does for cheaper - the iCandy
but if your company demands another $600 business expense... who are you to argue?
</oblig>

sorry I had to, rant would have exploded my brain otherwise!
that being said if you enjoy all those fancy eyecandy things and think they're worth it... by all means...

Huh?
*Checks the link*

Nooooooo! I'll have to find another one that talks about it.

Essentially every singel iPhone has the same password to get into it, just there's no place for hackers to log in...yet.

I can talk to people around the world with my Nintendo DS Lite, I can browse the internet on my DS, i can join IRC with my DS, I can play movies and music on my DS, and i can play games on my DS. Oh and I can answer and read e-mail with my DS... Now how much did the DS cost? $129 - how much did the thing that let me do all of that cost? $50 for the main thing- $7 for another MicroSD card, and $20 more dollars for being lazy and buying the browser rather than just waiting and setting up one of the other homebrew browsers...

Did i mention the DS has a touch screen too? How remarkable... :P

But does it run linux? XD

- a point for ds not having cell phone on it. Not that it'd be that much more to the price if it did. You could probably tape a razor to back of it and call it good for $2 with a two year service plan from any provider...

edit: less lol http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-RAZR-V3- ... B0006I2E1O

And I thought my buddy's modded XBox was pretty cool. I had no idea you could do all that with a DS. I may just have to get one now, though I've never really been one for handhelds.
