I am working on a new forum on this site. I already went to the help site for these forums and all i get is that the file size can't be changed.

I know this isn't true since this forum has a file size of 98kb. But the forum i'm working with only has 6kb and won't let me increase it to even 10. How can i fix this?

Need more detail- are you using phpBB? Or something else? If you are using phpBB then there is an option under the admin to increase avatar size in bytes (under Configuration which is under General Admin).

yes i'm using PhPbb.

But it won't change at all. I went to the main sites support page and someone in there said that it's a global thing that they won't let any forums have more then 6kb's.

I already figured out the general admin configuration thing though but no matter what i put in the value it won't change.

Yep - you have your answer. THEY limit you- not phpBB - they have made it so you cannot effect that to prevent people from "misusing" their free server space.

You need a real website with a database etc etc to have a real forum without drawbacks like that. But real websites cost money... course some of use have tons of web space and databases... that might be willing to give you some... But i have to leave work now, I get to go home and draw.
