Question:
Why is the C++ thread locked?

I wanted to inform the people talking about PHP that PHP is an interpreted language that is geared towards the net to a degree, but still perfectly usable for writing programs for internal use (however, it will never be as fast as C, because C is a compiled language
The php issue is old and done. Don't post unless you really have something new to bring to the discussion.

(from what was said in the thread I mentioned, this was not the case. But I am new here, and you guys have covered that ground, I guess, so, onward!)

easy fix cause it happens to me as well.
delete the ]color=#444444] part and then find the randomly inserted part and delete that too.

alternatively just type the code for colors down instead of highlighting and selecting a color.
eg. type for green instead of highlighting text and selecting green from the pop down menu.

I recently bought a Webcam, and I'm having trouble using it on Yahoo Live. I am fairly certain that the problem is not with the camera itself. The error message on Live reads "Camera is unavailable, may be in use by another application." I've tried shutting down all applications that might be using it, but nothing works.

The Yahoo site is horrible about any type of troubleshooting information, so it's more or less useless. Am I just a noob?

Depending on how new your webcam is, I would probably blame it on lack of support on the Yahoo side. Check on the Yahoo forums to see if other users have the same problems. Also check if your webcam works with other applications, assuming you've tested it with the default manufacturer's software / Windows wizards (if using windows). If with Linux, check for new drivers from manufacturer or some third party drivers instead.

You certainly ain't a noob. A noob would have called Tech support and interrupted strenuous games of Tetris instead of consulting this great plaza of technology intellectuals. :P

Well, I'm in the process of testing the camera on some instant messengers. It works perfectly with the software that came with it, so yeah, I think it has a bit more to do with the Yahoo end of things. Of course, my computer is a POS, so that may add into the equation...

EDIT: Works fine on my parent's computer, I believe. Either it doesn't like Firefox, or my computer is being retarded. Thanks for the help, anyways. =^.^=
