Kyle: PHP can be ran as a console interperater though, not outputting HTML, if you want

But that's really not the point of PHP, then. I mean if you're going to write a console program, it might as well bein C or C++.

I actually do like the code from C's feel better, but generally as a rule of thumb, if I'm working with windows I use C++, if I'm working with dos or a microcontroller, I use C.

You know I tried Borland C++ and I did not like it. I use Visual Basic Pro 6.0 .

Under Linux which I normally use, I use gcc (except of course when I'm using python or something else other than C and C++)
When I shamefully have to do development while under windows, I normally either use python instead of C or C++, or I use and IDE called DevC++ which uses mingw as the compiler, which is a port of gcc to windows.

I use Dev C++, because, well, it's required at my school. I am only learning C now, and it's a pretty easy language to learn. but I'm having trouble with linked lists right now... It's just too many things to remember when you want to add or delete something it in. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, do you know of an esay way to remember how to do this?
