Ok so my old phone died and its still under the 1 year replacement policy thing that sprint offered or something. well i am gonna bring it in and try to get store credit... I right now have a blackberry (my dad's old 8703e) and i LOVE it. i really would like to get another PDA phone...preferably a blackberry or something that is equal to the BB. The phone must be able to tether since i plan to add that into my cell plan by x-mas...what phone should i get. (Sprint phones!)

I'd say go for the Samsung ACE, Blackberry Curve 8330 or HTC Touch

Bleh, iphones are just gimmicky. They don't have half the features that any other good smartphone has, and they're generally more expensive. IIRC you'll pay well over a thousand dollars in the first two years in service fees. Oh, and the OP said Sprint.

By the way, I suggest you ditch Sprint at first opportunity. They suck. D: I'm very tempted just to pay my ETF now and get out before it's too late. xP

I couldn't agree more, I have AT&T but I chose the Blackjack and Blackjack II over both iPhones. WinMo is a much better OS, especially with 6.1 coming out little by little. Its a whole lot cheaper operate and easier to customize a WM phone. Plus, you can buy your music online and use WMP to sync it to your phone instead of using iTunes.

I have been with Sprint for 2 years now (family plan...my Mom for over 10 i think) and we have never had any problems other then the ONE time i went to Europe. I had my Grandma's phone while i was there so that really didnt affect me either. Personally i have been wanting to switch to a GSM carrier so i could get a phone i saw in Europe but Sprint has been ok with me. Only a few areas where i drop the call...and there usually less then 100 feet streatches (odd but whatever) oh and if you want to get out of sprint without paying, go somewhere where you always drop the calls...make a few calls...then call sprint and get credit for the dropped calls. do it enough times and they will just say you are droping to calls to much so we are cancleing your contract free of charge. (I looked up how to get off Sprint for a while to move over to T-Mobile.)

agreed, not a big fan of windows, but if you can live with the os on your phone then they are pretty good phones. ummm most HTC phones have a full qwerty keyboard......both my new 5800 and an uncles old HTC xv6800
have a slideout qwerty keyboard.
