I already know how to connect with my site on the server but I don't know how to use it.. at all.. Tom and Phil's sites would be great examples if i could take a look at how they're built up- I can do the images and the comics meself, I just.. don't know what goes where on the templates and how i post pages. Dang this is frustrating!!!!!!

I just now managed to open my own CG account. When you have your account verified and open, you should get an e-mail with pretty good instructions, such as a link to CGWiki, where I found alot of useful information. Also a decent Comic Genesis website generator (google it) is available with pretty clear instructions. Although my own FTP client always gets a "permission denied" while moving files, so I'm using the browser version instead (I don't see the difference anyway, except that I have to use the upload button instead of dragging and dropping).

It's easier to use than it looks like as long as you know what you're doing. If there's something you don't know what it is even after reading the manual, you probably shouldn't care about it.

I'm still having problems with getting my banner and news to show up, but I'm pretty sure they'll clear up with enough time. Can't be bothered now, though, because I'm still away from home with crappy connection.
