I'm trying to update Crysis with the two patches that are out, and right now v1.1 won't run. I've checked online for any solutions, so far this one seems to be undiscussed.

This is what I get:

Not sure how to fix this. I've reinstalled the patch, ran it as an administrator, etc etc... dunno, lost.

Updated Windows, the patch still does not work. This is getting annoying.

Necro'ed for epic win.

I've been told to bypass Patch v1.1 and go straight to v1.2, which seems a bit odd (WoW and other games require you to install ALL old patches to build up to the new one) but I'm giving it a try.

I'm surprised I never tried that just out of desperation. I'm hoping it works (I'm restricted to maybe 8 working servers with online play).

If it doesn't, I'm very content with trying to beat Single Player on Hard.

Depends on whether you downloaded the incremental or full patch.

Well, got an "Error 1642" message which means it's the same error as the above listed.

Installing patch 1.21 to see if that works instead.

Edit: Nope!

Edit: Full reinstall later, patches are working. YAY!
