Not sure of the title yet, but it would follow some people who are at the reading of the will for an old rich dead guy. He's a bit...odd, as can be seen from the people assembled. (maids, butlers, cooks, hot dog vendors, family, friends, that dud who's got the really silly name in the phonebook, the person who lives on exactly the geographic coordinates of my Social Security number...)

And a few people are saved for the very end of the reading, with the others dissmissed during the reading. These people get a "fictional" item that the beloved old dead guy has seen fit to leave them. So, you might get the Sonic Screwdriver from Doctor Who, allowing you to hack computers and open locks by pointing at them. Trouble is, that means that the villains of Doctor Who are coming into our world.

This would result in such things as the Cybermen getting mowed down by the BFG, The Gravity Gun being used against Ghouls, or an ANIMa fighting an Angel with the help of EVA01.

I think I might limit it to small vehicles and things one person can carry, though, as despite mecha fights being hella cool, it would suck to have your town blow up. Instead, I'll be going for the rules of the real world being replaced by fictional world rules, thereby allowing successful use of a closed 30 story window as an emergency exit, under circumstances that are sufficiently awesome.

Certain NPC's will be player-controllable.

Thoughts? Responses? Ideas?

I meant things from actual works, such as Warhammer, Battle Angel Alita, Discworld, Doom, Disega, MDK, etc, etc, etc...doesn't matter how obscure, as long as you can convince me that said work actually exists.

hmm...I just need to make sure that enough people have interest in it. most of the things I'm in on this site (and others) are either dead or inactive, so I'll be trying to get this and Against The Fall Of Night up here.

For those of you who aren't Drisk, Optix, or Dragoon, against the fall of night was a western thing. With supernatural stuff. Unfortunately, all copies of the original OOC are gone, so I've had to start from scratch.

Does this mean I can use the watch that turns beavers into gold from Freakazoid.

My apologies. The low quality and slow internet connection I am currently using caused me to automatically log out of anything I was signed into during my session.
