The rays of sun scattered along the barren wasteland that was now earth. Countless years of war had turned the once lush grass into dust. Rain had become a common thing, arriving with almost no warning at all and causing torrents and storms with ease. It was like hell had moved onto earth itself, sweeping away all life with no effort at all and leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.
It had become rare for an inhabitant of earth to see something that was once common such as tree's and wildlife, these only existed deep behind Reinhiet's battle lines, where the defense was so strong, the Xaoc Bomber's couldn't reach it. Yet in turn, the Xaoc forces had captured what had remained of earth minerals and was now almost 'Cloning' them to be used in the war effort.
With conditions worsening with each passing hour of war, the core of the earth comes closer and closer to implosion,both Xaoc and Reinhiet's commanders have noticed this and now both sides have redoubled their efforts to crush their opposition.
Reinheit's goals have changed only slightly, they will still seek to resolve matter's through other means than war, but instead of retreating, they are battle ready and will die for their cause.
However, Xaoc hasn't changed much at all, their troops are more equipped than ever and have no fear, gladly dieing for the thrill of the battle and to further their master's goals.
Both forces gaze across at each other, Xaoc's line far surpassing that of their opponent's, but, the Reinheit forces were heavily dug in to the mountain ridge that kept safe the haven's of Reinheit. Over 4 million tonnes of steel, stone and wiring kept the fortress standing after continue a continuous barrage from the Xaoc artillery guns. The tension around the fortress grew heavy as each soldier lined up their weapons and set up their automated defenses.
They waited patiently, each praying silently hoping to see the next rise of the sun.
It began, the Xaoc battle line gave of a mighty roar and began it's relentless advance forwards, consuming the golden sand in a sea of black. They drew closer, still Reinheit's forces held firm. Closer...closer...closer. Then with little warning, a chain reaction of explosions crippled the front line of Xaoc's troops. Artillery fire. A cheer erupted from the mountain side fortress followed instantaneously by the loud sounds of automatic weapons. The Xaoc lines continued their advance, unflinching.
"Siege Beast's!" A spotter roared noticing the towering figures belonging to the siege beast's, they were human once, but now they had been combined with so much DNA and machinery that they were almost troll like in their appearance except for their flashing lights. Clutching in their gnarled hand's, were either bombardment cannons, anti amour laser blades or a large white spherical object. A bomb of such power, the very earth itself trembled and shatter the things it held.
"They bear bombs" The spotter roared again. The large guns atop the fortress turned to the Siege beast's gave of a mighty roar as their cannons' decimated the beast's. Another cheer erupt but was silenced quickly as more beast's quickly took over the role of their counter parts. The guns were still reloading as the beast's neared the walls, with a heavy grunt the propelled the bomb into the lower wall of the fortress as one of them worked the timer.
The air held its breath, silence engulfed the valley and nothing moved.
The explosion was of such magnitude that the mountain itself shook violently, the section of fortress that was hit either crumbled - dragging down more of the fortress with itself - or was scattered high into the air and raining down into the mountain and Xaoc battle line. A dust cloud was propped trough the walkway that existed inside the Reinhiet fortress and threw all but the strongest of soldier's down.
"We must hold strong, the warmaster's are on their way!" The Commander's yelled, throwing each soldier into a place where they could maximise their weapons efficiency.
A wolf howl issued through the hall's of the Reinheit fortress, the Bio-Beast's were to fight with the xaoc forces, teeth, claw and bullet. It would have to hold, for all would be lost if Xaoc broke those lines.
Each soldier prayed a silent prayer, for they knew, it could be their last.

(Just to be a git, this is a NPC battle, the PCC one will happen on the west side of the Haven's. It hasn't begun yet and has some time remaining)
Inferni clutched his head in his hands and rubbed his eyes, he had felt the ground quake, so he knew what had happened, the Xaoc forces had breached their defense. He knew that it would hold if the War Master's could get their in time, but he was nervous all the less.
He sat on the edge of his bed, it was regular army style, single bunk, green sheets and green pillow. Hoisted directly above him was his stim-bag that had been crudely attached to the light above him that was flickering continuously and smelling of oil.
If the east fortress fell so quickly, this one won't last to long unless we can hit first and delay them
Inferni sighed and lay back on his bunk.
The east fortress will hold. I know it will
