this one's for people who love all those WWII style games *looks at HellhounD and myself*

yeah, it's my third in as many weeks. what can i say, i'm creative and don't have anything better to do in maths.

anyways I'm working on all the background but I know this much:

you will be part of a US covert ops team sent in to assasinate an enemy leader (probably Hitler, not being racist cause I'm part German). it will use 2Kinds races (so Keidran, Basitin and Human) and US military rankings.

i will post the rest of the background tomorrow with rules

The character sheet is as follows
Name:
Race:
Gender:
Age:
Rank:
Class: (sniper, rifleman, demolitions, support, assault, etc. Whatever suits your character)
Appearance: (height, weight, hair colour, fur colour, skin colour, eye colour, clothing, etc)
Equipment:
Vices (Weaknesses):
Virtues (Strengths):
Personality:
History:

my character shall also be posted tomorrow once i finish her

right now I'd like to know if there is any interest and you may post characters, however the highest rank should be 1 sergeant and the rest Lt. Corporal or lower. I will be the captain

you may all suggest squad names and i will choose one that i like

Name: Cross Grieve Bita
Race: Human (InterGrieve Race (this is just crap, ignore it)
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Rank: Umm, is 2nd Lt. under colonel? If not, is colonel?
Class: Special Op (part time recon)
Appearance: height: 6' 8'', weight:200lbs, hair colour: jet black, skin colour:peachy-white, eye colour: brown.
Equipment: C4 (In this case, a small TNT thing with really thin wires) MG42 (or US version) Colt .45.
Frontline operations (full-scale war outfit): DIVERSITY (its on that pic, ill try to get it on soon), colt.45, grenades.
Recon: No.4 Scoped Rifle (from BF1942, its the scoped version of the US Engineer's weapon) colt.45, binoculars.
Airborne Recon: (If we can use planes sometime): Medium Bombers/ IL-2/Crosair/Wildcat/Yak-9/Val

Vices (Weaknesses): Gets bored easily, causing him to blindly run in a minefield
Virtues (Strengths): Great Sharpshooter, hit 95% of the targets, 20% headshot, others in painful deaths.
Personality: Serious about work, but playful at times. Easily turned, for hes an ex-merc and willing to go rogue.
History: Bored Grieve Clan leader, he went to Earth to be a follower. (History never seems to count so Ill add his condensed full history)
Human Hist: man of few words, Bita spent his time making plans for the High Command. Appeared eager to join (die) so they took him in, no questions asked. He passed training with flying colours, but was critiqued for his restlessness. He treked 30km to the recruitment site, demonstrating his eagerness and stamina. Unofficially, he took down half of a Task Group, officially his buddy Blaze did. He never did like being a great hero.

How his name is in Human speak: Grieve- title for wartime, else for show. Frowned upon taking it as it is considered dirty. Grieve- Hononary title given to honoured civillians and most higher-ups. Bita- Last name (First names are usually titles) but for in all simplicity, in earthling speak, hes called Bita Grieve (religious/ritual title: Cross)

This is actully more/less what was planned due to time. Ill modifiy as best I can if need be.

MG42's were mounted machine guns, it'd be very hard for one man to carry such a heavy weapon, much less fire it accurately.

correct. Although it can be moved around and set up anywhere it required a two man team, one firing and the other feeding the ammo :D

I knows my WW2. 8)

well, a bit of it. Loves studying it in school.

anyway, at any rate even with a 2-man team Ion would have to set it up, fire, get it ready to move, and then move on, all while watching to make sure his buddy doesn't get shot.

yup. MG42's are a defensive weapon and are only moved when they need to get the hell out of there because someone is trying to bomb them :P

@ Ion
you're going to have to change the weapon and could you also change the class to just one specific class.

there won't be planes or the like that we can use.

Ion...your killing me.

Name:Renard"Duke"Ducato.
Race:Basitian/Keidren (Fox) [I shall cheat the system!]
Gender:M
Age:24
Rank:Cpl.
Class:Sniper( )
A
ppearance:5'11,192lbs.,Black Hair,Rust/Sand colored Fur,Orange-Yellow eyes,U.S. Airbourne Attire w/Fishnet Covered Helmet.

Equipment:1901 Springfield Scope-Sniper Rifle.[Also Familiar with a M1 Garand w/ Custom Scope***,Gewher 43 w/ Scope or Karabiner 98K w/ Scope,Leg bag Colt.45 Issued sidearm, Hitler Youth Combat/"Honor" Knife.(Backstory to come.)

Vices (Weaknesses):Straightforward and Blunt, Has gone through this war and his whole military life as if it was one big competition for kills and Nazi trophies.Short-tempered, Naive.

Virtues (Strengths):Sharpshooting and Hand to Hand Expert, Physically/Mentally strong. Able to endure a great deal of pain and function Semi-effective.

Personality:Seeming rather oblivious that a war is going on, he's rather cocky, yet likable by most. The type of guy who says off the wall crap just to get a laugh, even if it's just from himself. A smart-[censored] to most C.O's he's come to be the jokester of most squads he's been in. With a uncanny nack for the long shot, he never seems to notice more/less care that he takes the life of others with one well placed shot. Even at war his motto is to live everyday for it were your last.

History:Born into a Lower class family of St.Louis,MO his family had struggled through the 30's and the Great Depression, he had experienced it all as a young child, but it never erased a certian smile that he flashes to a burdened world that surrounds him. Upon finishing Highschool (barely) he had hesitated joining at first, hearing random war stories from his father and Grandfather who both had served in thier times, but one day on the way home from school he happened across a Human veteran who now stood begging for someone to support him. So without a second thought he aided the old man who told him of the good times he had, the people he saved and the enemy soldier just like him who he had beaten in the trenches of WWI with his own bare hands.

Running home that day he couldn't help but wonder what war was really like, and if it took the heart of a killer to really take someone's life. Upon aquiring a old Springfield from his now deceased Grandfather, he set about learning for himself what it felt like to fire a gun even if it was just at a few fruits and cans.

On December 7,1941 was truely when he decided to take his chances, signing up the same day. Soon into his training he volunteered for a newly developed program which sent young men jumping from perfectly good airplanes...

And it sounded like the job for him.

***The m1 Garand was scope attachable, though very few were produced and/or applied in combat. Not to mention it was able to Launch Grendades from a piece just under the barrel.
