Plot:
It's the year 2027, a new MMoRPG called Terra Fic has just released it's Beta two weeks ago!
You are one of the lucky contest winners and get to try it out!
So the story will begin with you putting on your virtu-helmet, plugging in your controller and create a character(or login if your char isn't level 1). While testing the game however, something weird happens. But that will be explained later.

Classes:
Following classes gain a spell every 10 levels.

-Black mage: Wears robes and uses knifes as weapon. Uses black magic.
-White mage: Wears robes and use staffs. Uses white magic.
-------------------Following classes can use black or white magic and gain a spell/ 25 levels.

-Thief: Wears light armor, uses daggers/shortswords.
-Partisan: Wears medium armor, uses polearms.
-Barbarian: Wears medium armor, uses axes.
-Gunslinger: Wears no armor, uses guns of all sorts.
-Assassin: Wears light armor, uses katars.
-------------------Following classes can,'t use magic, but can ride a chocobo.()

-Blade: Wears medium armor, uses Two handed swords
-Knight: Only class who can wear heavy armor, uses one handed axe/ sword/ spear and a shield.

This is a special class:
Adept Rogue: Chooses Three classes, changes into the next class every 60 levels. Gains spells and profincies as class.
So a knight/white mage/Blade adept rogue would be a knight first 60 levels, then a white mage and gains the ability to wear robes and use staffs, along with a white magic spell every 10 levels. Then be able to wear medium armor and use two-handed swords. But will only gain a spell every 25 levels again, but it can be black or white magic.

Zombie: Healing becomes damage
Regen: Heals very small amount of damage every 10/5 seconds for 5 minutes

He has a bunch of friends in real life, and is torn between them and the friends in online world. The server thing I don't get, so I just chose yours. And is this based in Japan or world wide?

The beta's only being released in Japan, and it has been released for about a two weeks. Only 8 people were selected to play at first, then others.

So maximum of 8 people can have chars with a lv. higher then 10.

There are 26 servers, A,B,C etc.
Each server has almost infinite fields.
The only way to get to a field is to teleport through this 'Chaos Gate' by
saying a combination of 4 words called an adress. The first thing is the server you're currently on, for our chars it would be Q. Then just pick three random words and off ya go. Example:

Rixum: "Q-Silent-Oblivious-Hills!"

Then Rixum would be teleported to the field called 'Q-Silent-Oblivious-Hills'

Also, the only way to switch servers is by travelling through the chaos gates in your hometown.

I hope you understand a little better now.

Before I go, what type of Orcs are we speaking?

Generic LotR / D&D Orc, Morrowind Orc, Warhammer Orc, Morannon Orc, Warcraft Orc, etc. Looks like Warcraft, but the type makes a difference (Generic are more of a Swarm you type, and not much above human, Morannon and Morrowind are the type that're overall above human except in perhaps strength, Warcraft and Warhammer are along the "Built like a Brick House" type).

More Warhammer style, players who play orcs are mostly pvp-lovers.
Pvp here is simple, newbie fields and hometowns are protected area's, the rest is open for pvp.

Excellent. Means you get to gank fellow Orcs because "They wuz lookin' at me funny". Hm, do said Orcs 'grow' in stature in the game (Not that it will matter now, since I'll likely only be level 10)?

I am not sure what you ment by off hand and main hand. but here you go.

Talonmaster Zso, Blades use Two-handed swords. if you want to ride a chocobo, any hometown has an npc's where you can rent one for 1000 gil.

hellsingman, Assassins use katars. and even if ya don't use them, you have 2 spells, so pick them.

ChadM, no problems detected..so far.

Nah, Drog would be more likely to 'hire' it just to try and kill it for loot.

Then, being level eight, die and have wasted some gold.

And is Knight and Blade the only two melee classes that're based off fighters? If so, I switch to Knight, I guess.

Knights kinda use a shield, but if ya want to dual wield, why not take a barbarian and use two axes?
