Life is relatively peaceful in Haven. The many races and creatures depend on each other, trading a valued part of Haven culture. Humans, "Beasts", Elves and various other humanoids dwell side by side, fighting for each other, instead of against.

However, a dark cloud lies ominously above Kairo's kingdom. Kairo is Haven's capital city, and home of the Queen, an elven woman who's laws helped attribute to Haven's peaceful nature. Little does Queen Xula, nor the people of Haven, know that hidden above that cloud, is something that will break the peace forever.

EDIT: Just want everyone to know, "Beasts" is actually a derogatory term for Anthros (Furries) in Haven.

So, this is a pretty simple plot, right? The story takes place in a continent called Haven, which is divided into various nations.

The races you can choose from are as follows:

Human- Humans are the least numerous of the three races. Humans are on good terms with the other two races, though some have been known to hunt Beasts for fur. They excel in fighting, but are the best at archery and anything that involves aim. They can wield magic moderately.

Elf- Most numerous of all the races. Elves excel in Magic and are pretty good at archery. They are at peace with both humans and Beasts, though their arrogance toward the other races and the superiority complex many Elves have can get out of hand. Also, Haven was once Elven land, so many feel hostility towards their "visitors".

Beast (Anthro)- Beasts can range from cat-like creatures to humanoid dragons, and are second in regards to population. At peace with both humans and Elves, Beasts can sometimes lose control during mating season or when fresh blood is spilt. Beasts excel in fighting, almost incredibly so, but cannot wield magic. They are decent archers. Some Beasts have been known to kidnap humans, eating them or using them as slave labour (this happens very rarely, and usually to hunters who have harmed one of the Beast mother's kin).

Description: A cleric of his people. He's been working on an almost mission like job for his cult group. He's been a facilitator of peace and was once a lead negotiator till religion was found and he decided to focus on that. He uses Healing spells most of the time but knows a few more... deadly spells from his younger days.
History: He orignially trained in the military but was more adept at magic was quickly transeerred to a magic unit where he was moved again due to his ability to talk people out of a lot of things. This led to his use as a diplomat. Then he quit when after joining a cult and has moved to Mission work.

Name: Zidian Domina
Sex: Male
Race: Elf
Age: 177

Description: Zidian, a crafter of weaponry and a former historian and philosopher. His job is in the development of more effective equipment for defenses of the region's border cities.

He's a slender young man as most elves are, his hair grown to his shoulders and kept in a clean, blunt cut. His eyes are difficult to see as they are normally hidden behind a pair of goggles and are very slanted and focused like blades. He typically wears a heavy, indigo colored coat with golden designs along it's edges. The collar is made very thick, almost like a huge cylinder an it comes just below his ears. Speaking of which, his ears seem unusually longer than most elves, going out about 6 or 7 inches.

History: During his early years, Zidian went into researching ancient cultures and old scriptures. He read much about Melchior, a wise man and unrivaled weapons creator. Since then, Melchior's been an idol to Zidian and he chose to take after his trade, becoming a weapons crafter. Through the ages, he continued his tasks seasonally as a scholar and weapon designer, directing the building of elegant and functional defense weapons for the guards of the border cities. To this day, he continues further research as he keeps after his many journals on research of the past.

Oh, side note, Elves do age slower. Forgot to mention that, they usually live to about 800-100 years of age.

Name: Soless Silvertongue

Age: 16

Description: Tall and of a slender build, Soless is a skilled thief and hunter. He has messy, short dark brown hair and grey eyes. Constantly traveling into Elven and Beast villages, he acts as a merchant and steals from customers, as well as the businessmen around him. He also accepts "jobs" for money, doing whatever or killing whatever his buyer wants. Soless, however, has a kind side, but his greed gets the best of him in most situations.

History: Soless entered Haven military when he was 15, but left immediately after learning the skills needed to become a successful thief and assassin. Living on his own since he was five, Soless found out that thievery and killings were the only way he could survive. His father and his mother were brutally murdered after his village was raided and pillaged by the now-rare dragon Beasts.

Soless eventually adopted two Beasts, Terri and Lohti, after finding them on their own, in shock and without any parents. They help him with his "job", distracting merchants and the like. At first, he only took them in as tools to help him with his earnings, but has grown fond of them, though he's far to stubborn to outright admit it.

hmm.... a kind side to this Silvertounge? so... whould he adopt a couple of Beasts, if they helped him with his work? Also, if it's ok, I'll post two bios:

Name: Terri Zanaris
Sex: Female
Race: Beast (Fox)
Age: 19 (beast years)
Description: Lohti's younger sister, she doesn't want Lohti to be so protective of her, but knows he is only looking out for her. She likes the concept of archery and only mildly practices swordplay.

History:Ever since their parents were skinned for their hides while Lohti and her were out playing, they've both been rather numb, and don't respond to mating season often, and if so mildly. They rely only on each other... until they met Silvertounge. He is the only other person they trust, and would easily die to protect him.

Age: 20

Heh, I try to keep a whethered eye out for any RPs I may enjoy, read them, and then enter them if I can. I'm in quite a lot in some other forums, so I'll be happy to be playing in this one as well.

I'm glad somebody with a lot of roleplaying experience thought my story was decent. This is one of my first, so I'm hoping it does alright.

Oh, and I edited my character's profile and included your characters. I don't have all the details yet though, but I'll work on that.

Name: Magne Deepforge

Description: A loyal soldier of Haven. Magne is deeply ingrained with the idea of service to the state. He has no tolerance of backsliders and those who abuse their power. This said, he also is disgusted with those who put too much attention on pomp and circumstance. His primary focus in effeciency and practicality. This has carried over into his fighting style. He wields his glaive with fearsome skill. He avoid fancy manuevers, instead dispatching the enemy quickly and brutally. One would think that this driven energy has put him into positions where he could lead others, yet it has actually lowered his status. The Elven leaders have passed him over for promotion because he doesn't put any stock in politics or making himself look good. Instead of serving out in the glorious armies, he has been assigned to a mundane policing force tht guards the capital.

History: Magne was orphened from birth and has no knowledge of his birth parents. He was a ward of the state and as a result, he was apprenticed to a blacksmith, Dargax Deepforge. He learned the skills of the blacksmith, as well as the gruff, simple outlook toward life from Dargax. Though they never showed much emotion to each other, they developed a bond, almost like father and son. When Magne decided to join the military at age 16, his adoptive father fashioned the glaive Magne uses to this day. After his missions, Magne often returns to speak with his "father".

Name: Rife
Sex: Male
Race: Half-Elf (Well, sorta.)
Age: 10
Description: A young child. This kid is usually dressed in black and brown clothing, mostly due to all of it being dirty. The clothing is usually tattered and ragged, and his skin is usually dusted over. His actual skin is a very subtle peach, however. He had red, wild hair, and purple eyes, and has a normal stature for a 9 year old. The only elflike quality he has is the trademark ears, which aren't as long as they should be. It's pretty obvious his elven blood is very dimished. If one look close enough, too, they could tell his nails were slightly pointed too- a sign of very, very, very diluted beast blood.

History: This child is a basic street rat. He was born on the streets (supposedly, at least. He was at least put there as a child) and lives on the streets. He was found by a group of theives, and raised by them. They depend on each others loot and skills to survive. Rife pickpockets, steals, and begs to keep up, as the other members of the group are more adept than him- and he's expect to bring in his share. Given half a choice, he'd stop, but he doesn't have half a choice. If he stopped, he'd starve, be beaten by the group, or both.
