Here we talk about the kind of issues that make use of moddex's elemental magic system. also if anyone should know i want to structure the thre by turns but if there is no posting from the one who's turn is next we just act as if he already posted so everyone start with their characters aking their own way through life...

The elemental system is pretty simple according to my understanding...

you have two types of wave lengths of a special wave type called kataga.
what these waves do is supply the person with power over his or her surroundings/ themselves.

internal kataga or IK if you wish lies in every person like the mediclorians from star wars while the external kataga or EK if you wish... Is like the concentration of the same wave lengths inside of the environment.

IK is usually pretty weak as most people wouldn't be able to use kataga without somekind of assistance that a technological device called the mag or Magical Assistance Guardian.

A normal person has about 8.0465 ppms of IK inside of them and that won't even light a match.

But in this universe there are those that can perform minor supernatural phenomenon to a degree without assistance of a M.A.G. but with a mag they can perform even greater feats of supernatural quallity that is only heard of in myths from history.

These people are called mages. and they have about 12.645 ppms of IK
within themselves.

Of course the are still even more powerfull people who's mastery of Kataga is far greater than a regular mage these people are called the Magi
and they specialise in performing great feats of magic without assistance from mags, but become quite impressive with the help of a mag.

Magi have about 20-25 ppm of IK inside them.

Lastly are the beings that defy nature, the bane of the natural world, the humonculi. These can perform such great magick that they equal a Magi whos asisted with a mag only they can't use mags for some strange reason...

They have about 30.6 IK inside their bodies.

But humonculi are seen as dangerous weapons that are akin to ticking time bombs as their emotions are quite unstable and they are not seen as people but monsters.

For this story i will state the max of chars in this thread...
4 human mages
4 Magi
2 humonculi.
a total of ten characters max. however only one of the humonculi will be available for players. but as for the pairings it will be like so:

Team A(the "Good guys"):-3 human mages (open)[]
-2 Magi (open)[]

Team B (the "Bad guys"): -1 human mage (open)[]
-2 Magi (Dante Daken [Jaqdracp],)
-1humonculi(Mirku A. Valkory)[Mirku]
Team C(The "Sage of Silence"):-Humonculi (Erku)[Ryptide]

and this is how the char sheet should look like:

Name:
Age:
Race:(Human, Magi, or Humonculi)
Kataga counter rating: Ppms (how much of IK you have inside)
Magick type:(sorcery or geomancy)
Appearance:
Personality:
Background story:

Sorcery deals with IK while Geomancy deals with EK.

Geomancy is random in potency but can have great power if the EK rating in the environment is high. methods such as circle magick can be quite dangerous in the right hands...

Sorcery deal with the internal kataga for power and effect. !2 PPM is like an apprentice mage, 20-25ppm is like an archmage who has some spells of power, but 30 ppm is a whole different league of its own.

humonculi can be like gods in sheer magic power but they are often just empty vessels void of true self will...the ones that think like people they are the ones who feel mistreated in all of this...their emotional state make them very fragile to verbal abuse... and that tends to lead into massive disasters....

Appearance: Well built, 1.74 meter tall and weighs 54 kg.He has black hair and one red and one blue eye.
Personality: Quiet as hell, only acts when being ordered. When enraged his magic goes berserk and he becomes a great threat to his surroundings. If forced to act on his own he wil try to take out enemies from the Magi that found him.
Background story: He got thrown out of his village at young age. He was found by a Magi who treated him like something precious, and he descided to stand by Him/Her(don't know) forever.

Appearance: Brown eyes, brown hair, oval friendly face. About 1,80 meters tall, he has a slight belly, and prefers wearing jeans with tshirts that are of earthen colors, even if it is freazing.
Personality: Friendly and cheerfull, looks the world around him, looking at the potential everyone has, and believes that everyone is capable of doing good. Bad things happen only when one stops caring.
Background story: Third son of a family that has produced already four magi, he is thought to be the black sheep of the family, by his father. Not that his father ever told so, but it shows in the way he treats him, and treats his brothers and sister. Fortunately his siblings never felt that way, and always wanted his help for physical things. One thing he always enjoyed was woring in the garden, feeling a connection with plants and flowers and the soil itself, that always baffled him. Powerful, but not enough to be a magi, he treats the others with the respect that he sees that is lacking when his father talks to him.

Appearance: Scruffy beard, untamed hair, hunched old man. White hair and white eyes. Walks around with a heavy cloak, rags for pants and walking staff. Not too caring for his Appearance looks abit homeless and dirty.
Personality: Clam, outgoing, cautious... sometimes. Drunk, fool, sage, prev, caring, sane, and insane.
Background story: Dante was once a renowned Tutor and arch mage for the art of kataga, he would teach many adepts that became great arch mages by birth. But a tragedy happen that cause Dante to lose everything he had. His statue as professor and mentor was stripped from him. He now wanders around (edit) giving he knowledge to others in hopes to find self peace.

Appearance: A maturing young man with short, dirty blonde hair, black eyes, and lightly tanned skin. He normally wears a long, white trench coat, black, professional looking slacks, a woven, beige undershirt buttoned up at the front, and a pair of black suede shoes topped with slivery steel plates.

Personality: Witty, a ladies' man, and an all around happy fellow. Can get a little arrogant at times, making himself out to be someone important just due to his research. He's also tries to act like a charmer when in a situation.

Background story: Scruffy by nature, he's a young hearted, well experienced researcher in the science of Kataga mastery and the applications of Kataga through technology. He has also devoted his research to a fast casting program called Runology. This new type of use of Kataga uses reference symbols to immediately give the brain specifics on how to use his/her power.

In advent of his new discovery, he tends to act self important, believing that he deserves more recognition that he gets.

His other research is the study of the powers of Homuculi and Magi and how they are granted such incredible power at birth. His goal is to find a way to attain the ability to grant extraordinary iK power to all of mankind.

Age:about 120 years old (...Humonculi have been retired so its kinda hard to know if they live shorter or longer lives then humans or magi...)

Magick type:Forbidden sorcery (like the controversial kind...or the dangerous kind)

Appearance: usually wears a black cloack that hides his appearance from others, But he looks like a man in his thirties with a well toned body and a (I just picked the costume from a game I played VP) uniform that would change to adapt to his surroundings thanks to his forbidden magicks. He has a Bluish long hair hung loose about his shoulders, and a face bereft of anything but sadness...

Personality: Quite mysterious as he is a mirror to those who speak to him, as he only looks sad and sounds sad but if someone talks to him he mimmicks their tone and personality as if the where being talked at by themselves.

Background story:About a hundred and twenty years ago in a secret laboratory, some Magi tried to created the most powerfull humonculus to ever walk this earth and they did... But the humonculus didn't stay under their control as his creators are all dead along with anyone in the same town. The legend of the Blue Tengu came from him going berserk and out of control of himself killing a lot of innocents until he calmed down. Then he wondered sad for about a hundred and twenty years watching others and mimmicking their voices. Now no one knows if Erku is the Blue Tengu since most people who have heard of him have all perished from old age... Yet he plods on his sorrowful path like he did unageing and alone...

=OOC=((Ok, this is the Sage of silence, also known as the Philosopher, Erku or the blue tengu if anyone cared to do research. This guy will be you little helper that is subtle and discreet when comes by... He may have a plan if you guys are stuck in a place, without a viable option to leave or enter the place. but he has his own agenda as well for he helps both the good guys and the bad guys. You guys will have to decide which team you'll be on as there really is no bad guys or good guys it's just what most of the masses think of your char... your chars aren't evil but its the faction you serve that might be evil...))

((Team B Magi. And since I was first I should have the honor of naming the Faction. :P Im messing. But to suggest an Idea I'd like to call it, Alkenita ((I just made that word up)) So yeah.... Come on people post, I've never been able to do a successful RP yet))

Ok team B is Officially named Alkenita By Jaq Dracp.

It's actually unit Alkenita since they don't call them teams in game...

anyone for unit B or unit A?

Well, my character doesn't exactly follow the units. He's, by nature, a good guy though. If the case were to come, he'd end up working with Unit A.
