I have not been one here for even a week so sory if this is in the wrong post. So back to the topic, what should the theme of my RP be? Like setting location, atmosphere, etc.

If you ask others for a theme, then the RP wouldn't be your own. Be creative and use whatever you like.

Well, I find that often the most popular species are humans, empowered humans (humans with magic, like mages or shape-shifters) furres, and humanoids (vampires, demons, etc) also, I would give you any ideas for rps, but I can tell you that one of the most popular genres is Medieval/fantasy. Windshear Chronicles, which you joined, is a medieval/fantasy rp.

Check your local bookstore for various D&D books dedicated to different races. Some of those can have some helpful suggestions.

yeah, just be sure to involve furres. Most people love doing that race since this is 2kinds. And the most common and best are fantasy/medievial like said. The only personal thing I would want is Ireland (I'm crazy when it comes to the Celtics)

You can have Celtics without having Ireland, it is fantasy after all. Or maybe I should say it 'might' be fantasy.

Personally-- Cyber Punk with Demi humans would be freaken sweet... ever play Shadow Run? That was one of the best RP games ever... (and no i dont mean the old Nintendo game)

Oh, and there is one other thing. I thought about this earlier in the summer. Make the human race at the bottom of the dominant ranks. If you think about it, mosts humans are weak. Unless they have magic. Compared to everything else out there, it seems we are pathetic

my suggestion is that you make up your race. make up a background, description, and stuff. i did awhile ago for another forum. ill do it again when i have time to devote toward the RPG. but making up a race is prob the best.
