Edan was in there about thirty minutes, needing a good amount of time to get some pieces of bark out of his hair, then stuck his head over the top of the door. "Matt, could you please get me a towel, and could you please get me some clothes Rock? I would greatly appreciate it if you hurried."

He then ducked back into the stall to examine the stitches on his back, snagging the hand mirror from his pants pocket to do so. Well, looks like a night in a tree didn't damage the stitches, though I wouldn't mind having a physician take a look at it to make sure.

He leaned against the wall to wait for his brothers to get what he asked.

He bowed and went to retrieve the towel as asked, chuckling to himself a bit. He often found amusement in things the others didn't but wasn't sure why...he was just that kind of person it seems. He returned quickly with the towel and handed it to him over the top of the door. "Here y'go."

"Got it little bro, I'll be right back." Rocky rushed to the campsite too get a towel and returned as quickly as he could. He skidded to a stop, one of his favorite things to do when stopping at high speeds, and braked inches from the door. "<Whew> That was close...almost crashed. Man, am I glad that I practiced the slide maneuver in the sand pit...Here's the towel E." He cracked the door open slightly and stuck his hand in, waiting for Edan to take the towel.

Edan raised one eyebrow when two towels came in through the door. "...Weren't you supposed to get my clothes Rock?" He grabbed Matt's towel and began drying himself off. "Thanks Matt."

Rocky slapped himself on the head "Sorry E, got mixed messages. I'll Be right back." Once more, he ran to the campsite, and this time, he returned with a set of Edan's clothes. "Here you go, one set of clothes, fresh from your bag."

E extended one hand and snagged the set of clothes from his brother's hand. "Thanks Rock." He finished drying himself off and got himself dressed. He snagged his jacket on the way out and put it on.

He paused for a moment as he felt something move under the jacket and reached inside. He felt something small, thin, and scaly. He grasped it and pulled out a juvenile garter snake. "Huh. Didn't see that coming."

He looked back up to his brothers as he held out the snake, who was now weaving itself between its fingers. "Either of you interested in a snake?"

"ooh...nice. Where'd that come from?" "The inside of my jacket...You want it?" "Sure why not...of course, it's not comin' back with us." he takes the snake by the head and walks over to a nearby bush close to a bunch of trees. he crouched down and let the snake go on his merry way "There ya go, enjoy your freedom little guy."

He stood back up and walked back over to his brothers "Ok, let's get back to the campsite so you can get some rest E."

E shrugged. "I wish. My next stop will probably be the hospital for a new medicine. By the way, would either of you have any idea how a garter snake got in my jacket, 'cause I didn't put it there and it would've fallen out when I shook my jacket out."

He waited for their answer as he started walking back to the campsite, hoping he would have a chance to nap in the van on the way to the hospital and back.

"I have absolutely no idea, maybe it was in the shower and decided to slither into your jacket where it was dry and not inhabited by a giant...in their point of view of course."

They made it back to the campsite and Rocky waved to Wynni "Hey mom, we're back. And E's smelling like roses." He snickered as Edan elbowed him in the side from the comment.

He rubbed his side as he continued "So when're we headed out?"

Edan staggered to his feet and stepped out of the van, still a little unsteady from sleep. "Thank you, but I'd rather walk." He brought out his cane and leaned on it.

*Great...stuck on packin' duty...* "Ok mom, we'll have everything done when ya get back."

Rocky and Matt went straight to packing all of the loose things in the campsite into their respective containers, and stashed them to one side of the site for quick and easy pickup. Making sure no one that was unaware of the topic was closeby, he started talking to Matt "So how long has E had the huge wound in his back Matt?"

Matt, silent until now, chuckled as he packed away a few things nearby. "That? He's had that for a while, got it a few days ago when a piece of cement got stuck in his back from falling on the sidewalk. Quite a nasty wound..." he said and made a slight face. "Why do you ask?"

"No big reason bro, just wonderin'...Weird how he can't feel it though, it still looks painful...Wish I could handle pain like he could, not even feeling it...Sounds like he's got it made."
