Thought up another name for a creature in my race's habitat. >.< 1 more race and a God. (I might think up more than that as time passes, since I haven't even thought that far into it yet.) If that's ok, that is.

Race's Name: Veiriun {Vā-rē-ūn}
Races Type (Animal, humanoid, other): Animal
Race's Diet (Carnivore, Herbivore, Omnivore): Carnivore
Race's Intelligence (Minimal, Mild, Moderate, High): Minimal-Mild
Race's Appearance: Veiriun look like small wolf-cat hybrids (best way to describe them. They're smaller than wolves, larger than smaller cats, and have varied coats (color and pattern).) Their tail is about the length of their shoulders to their hind-legs, their eyes are round (not cat-like), and their claws are not retractable.
Race's Qualities: These nasty little creature have hollow fangs and an area below the canines (Longest teeth, since they're all sharp) secrete a paralyzing enzyme to keep the prey from escaping. They usually move in small groups of 3-4 to catch prey, and are excellent hunters dispite their size, so don't underestimate them. They themselves are good to eat as long as you cut the head is cut off correctly, as to not release the enzyme, as the area that holds it spread from the jaw below the canines to the upper neck. Cut incorrectly, and the enzyme leaks into the flesh, making it not good to eat.

Dregari-FURTHER RACE INFO TO BE ADDED

God

Name:Kane
Domain: Warriors/Warfare
Appearance: (not sure yet, ideas are welcome)
Info:Warriors who follow him become Paragons upon their death. Whatever form of combat they were good at in life they are much, much better at, and their presence is something that will easily turn the tide of a battle. Strategists who follow him become known as the Architects for their planning skills. His afterlife is widely varied in the terrain it covers, which regularly shifts as time passes.

Ok, here's a god then.

Zirizlivm, God of the Basilisks and Lies.

Zirizlivm is the one who invented lies. Literally. You can never trust one word that he says. Ever. Even if he swears on his honor, he may still lie, and probably will. He is the master of mind twisters and tricksters.

All the other gods knows perfectly well that the god of earth and the godess of water gave Zirislivm the responsibility for the Basilisk race the minute they created it. And he didn't complain at all.

None of the races knows that Zirizlivm is the God of the Basilisks though, not even the Basilisks themselves. And he is perfectly fine with this. Infact, it suits him perfectly.

And no one knows what his goals for his race are either. Some suspect that he doesen't know them himself. What everyone knows is that he prefers to keep a low profile, and so does his race. Even though there are times he has gotten directly hostile, and his race has sowed great destruction on the world.

Race's Name: Suorin {Sō-rēn}
Races Type (Animal, humanoid, other): Animal
Race's Diet (Carnivore, Herbivore, Omnivore): Carnivore
Race's Intelligence (Minimal, Mild, Moderate, High): Mild-Moderate
Race's Appearance: In the river, there is a lot of small animals. These don't fit there. they are large, serpentine creature, with scales that nearly perfectly blend with the clear, blue river. They start at about 5 feet long (medium-small female) and go from there.
Race's Qualities: They don't harm humanoids, just eat fish in the river when they need to. They have sharp teeth, but no poison. They use their natural camouflage excellently. they are spread throughout the river, so there may be 1 or 2 in a specific section of it

God

Name: Cael'siril {Sāl-sē-rĭl}
God of: Life and Prosperity
Appearance (according to legends/myths/etc.): He looks like a common Ciil'rin, but his fur is of a pure white such that noone can guess his true age, but assume him to be hundreds, perhaps thousand, of years old. Stories vary about his appearance (some say his eyes were silver to express rarity of the silver-eyed people, some say he holds a crooked staff to signify his age (although he is always portrayed standing upright, not hunched over), and some picture him with either wealth or a tool for obtaining it (spade, axe, etc.))
Appearance (real): Yet to be seen close enough to tell details.

Well, that's about what I've got so far. More will be added, perhaps I'll think up a history for the god. >.<

Fae-This is a general term for a large group of creatures, most of which are rather attractive, humanoid, have innate magical abilities, and secretive. Known types as of this writing include nymphs, dryads, sprites, satyrs, centaurs, and pixies. These are the names we've assigned them, due to their regular names being really hard to say, and aren't always the best thing to call them. More details will come further on in this, pending further research, and the return of the researchers who went out to meet the nypmhs. Any day now...

The lands of Taura are a cold, desolate place. There seems to be evidence of a vast kingdom once, but it is only ruins now. Most settlements are either nomadic, following massive herds of caribou, or settled in one of a few valleys that are heated by massive hotsprings. There are very few monsters there, as the food supply for most has run out, making it a peaceful area that is home to pacifist tribes. Home to many Forgotten Superweapons and Lost Technology.

An idea regarding astrophysics that Lohti has brought up with me is a "Sunbelt";pretty much, there is a ring of stellar matter from north to south that rotates to provide light. The moon would rotate around this ring, and because of centrifigual force, the heaviest masses would be pulled to the equator, making the poles have eternal twilight.

Life?

Any more to it? I dunno what shape the land is in, especially if you're letting everyone choose their own land size/shape.

Oh man, I had honestly forgotten about this thread. So, we're starting to create countries now? A'ight, I'll make one up, draw a map of it, come up with some information, history and mythology for it, and upload it on Friday.
