Aw, what the heck. I'm in. I know you originally said "no dragons", but I think this may be permissable. Please tell me if otherwise.

Name: Shadar
Species: Glass dragon wyrmling (baby dragon) [a cookie if you can guess the reference]
Power: 10
Skill: 6
Speed: 4
Endurance: 10
Description: Shadar appears to be a dragon the size of an adult golden retriever. His eyes and claws look too large for his body and his wings are very small, though still functional, albeit with a lot of flapping. Glass crystals grow all the way down his spine, turning into a small 'mane' right behind the head. His body's scales are mainly bone-white flesh with lines of blue-veined glass running down his sides. His claws and teeth look like pieces of glass, and his wing membranes resemble glass with a marbled pattern of blue veins. The front of his head is predominantly black.
History: Shadar is the first naturally-occuring glass dragon, born after the great war of his world. He is still only a few years old, but has had to learn fast to survive the desert that is his home. About a month prior to the tournament he had what little hoard he had stolen, and has entered to start working to restore it.
Weakness: Speed
Strength: Power
Items/weapons: Claws, teeth, breath weapon. He also usually uses special metal claw and bite enhacers, resembling bare-framework gauntlets for dragons and braces with additional metal teeth sticking out.

Breath Weapon: Shadar's breath weapon consists of a blast of powerful sonic waves and glass shards, designed to lacerate flesh and cause serious internal damage. While not as physically devastating as, say, a blast of fire, it does cause significantly more damage to objects than simple flame. He can only use the blast once every six to eighteen seconds.

Hmm... I guess. Let me count everyone up real quick.

There are 8 characters signed up, but it's been a while since then, so I don't know how many are still going to be around for this. But, go ahead and make your sheet, I probably won't be starting for a few days anyway, seeing how lazy I am. :P

Pyromancer: Hmm... I guess I'll allow it. He's no bigger than a large dog, and I know he's as powerful as anyone else in the tourney. Just remember, that breath attack will not give you any sort of edge. And he should be sentient, which he sounds like he is. Accepted.

this sounds interesting and i hope its not too late to join but, can I have more info on how the fighting will work?

are the battles all totally predetermined and we just roleplay out a blow by blow representation of the results or what? do our posts make any difference to the outcome?

Also how do the different skills weigh up? will somebody with high power kills someone with low endurance in one hit?
