OK, here are my 2 as promised.

Working Background: Hostage Negotiator (oh so helpful when monsters are trying to kill you)
Why you went to the house: Hostage negotiation. People 'disappeared' in a house and she went to find out why. Don't you just love a boss that sends a negotiator rather than SWAT.
Equipment: 8-shot revolver and a stun gun.
Heirlooms: Silver Cross, Stake, Garlic Necklace, Holy Water in a vial. You name it and she has it.
Knowledge: A bit too superstitious about these kinds of things, hence the massive amount of anti-monster crap.

Appearence:

Basic Monster type: Wolf Demon. Made his way to the house through a weird purple portal that appeared in his territory in his world. He went to investigate said portal and got sucked in. Now he's pissed and wants to know who's responsible. Obviously the house lied and told him it was the people that keep showing up.
How long have you been in the house: He lost count after 150 years
Equipment: His body and demonic abilities. Able to manipulate ice and wind elements.

Only one problem, the 'hostage negotiation'. You see, people do not know about why others disappear in the House, only that they do, she could be a hostage negotiator, who just happened to go the the House but it would just be a coincidence, otherwise you are good.

Alright, accepted. The RP begins on Saturday, anyone who want to add a character by then, hurry up. I was honestly hoping for more people to be the meddling kids, but, guess not. The story will be more centered around the monsters then.

I don't see why you can't allow people to join after the start. The humans could simply be entering after the start.

I can, but only up to a point, at a maximum, at least 4 more people will be able to join after it starts, because the House almost automatically kills people who travel singly, so there has to be a group.

Basic Monster type: Werepyre - a cross between a werewolf and a vampire. Was previously a werewolf, however, so he appears to be more wolf than bat. His wings, teeth and red eyes resemble that of a vampire.
How you got into the house: Wolfwing was pulled into the house through a strange portal that appeared as a rip in his world. He was alone in the dark woods, in a land where he was feared but respected as the worlds' first and strongest Werepyre.
How long have you been in the house: A month - two months. Let's just say he knows his way around.
Equipment: Nothing, as the description implies.

Working Background: Professional ghost hunter.
Why you went to the house: Thinks that Mystery Inc's disappearances was ghost related.
Equipment: Ampules of holy water, wooden stakes, garlic.
Heirlooms: Special siver knives form an... ancestor of his.
Knowledge: He is a ghost hunter, so he know everything, or so he thinks.

Working Background: Ever since she was able to partially prevent herself from being turned, she has tried to help others.
Why you went to the house: Do-gooder half vampire who tries to cleanse places of evil, tried and failed with Amityville. Wants to try to make this house livable.
Equipment: Bare hands,powers, special tear-resistant cloak.
Heirlooms: none.
Knowledge:IS one of the supernatural, and knows all of their weaknesses, maybe. :twisted:

Working Background: Gymnast, video game player.
Why you went to the house: Because he wanted to see why everyone avoided it.
Equipment: Switchblade, denim jacket.
Heirlooms: Sliver dog tag from his dad.
Knowledge: Video games, but he does not believe that monsters actually exist.

Optix, no hurry but please post your character's reaction quickly. Everyone else, monster's are dying of hunger out there!
