So, how about a different topic to talk about besides the new update? Let's get a little Variety up in here! (even tough it's still awesome)

So...remember when Zen and Natani's feelings are presented through the brainlink? Well.....what happens when Natani goes into heat? Isn't this kind of inevitable of happening? Or even worse, what would happen if Zen was with Nat when it happens?.....
Hear me out for a second..

When Female keidran go into heat, they crave for "activity" from males, but...what does that mean when Zen is the only one around? Is Nat still sane realizing that it's just her bro....or does she not see that, and only see a male keidran....

Which leads into the question...Do keidran look down on incest as the humans do? To be honest...there's no real evidence of anything on this topic...even tough it's actually highly possible.

What are the odds that Nat goes into heat, and Zen may be the only person around...? (this probably would have happen during the early days that they had the brainlink, and were together *but there'd be no reason to reveal that to keith...*) And when this does happen, Zen will get some of the emotion Nat is feeling...so, that's adding to the reicipe for disaster...

But do you see how likely this is to happen? ....I don't even have an ending question... I just don't know what to think about now...

Update: I mean, they might have not had incest, but that situation must've come up at one time right? how do you think it went down?

If the diagram once given was any indication, I'd say if Zen was there it'd be entirely possible the mad Rup-A-Dump would occur. After all, the Keidran was represted as having sex with a cat.

Then again, Nat has shown both willpower to resist the mad smexy time, and that she knows it in advance, so Zen would know to steer clear, if incest is considered bad.

If they were the last 2 compatible kiedrian on earth, then yes, they would. Otherwise, I think not.

I would imagine that the incest taboo amongst Keidran would be stronger than it is in humans. Specifically because of heat, in fact. They'd want to enforce, culturally and socially, that their family trees have branches.

Keldoth, don't forget that that image was conjured up by Keith's bitter words. It's almost certainly not true, merely an example of Keith's prejudice and pain after Laura abandoned him. It's still not clear on if the villagers told him that she'd shacked up with a new man when they threw him out, so it might easily be him simply believing the worst about her race after her stunning betrayal.

To take a different tack, if the link would make Zen feel the effects of Natani's heat (almost certainly true, especially early on), could Zen pursue a woman and use his own sensation to then satiate Natani's desire? Then Zen would simply have a long string of girlfriends to get both he and Natani through the worst of it. One could say that Zen was unable to do that this time around because he was still injured.

Hmm... indeed possible. As to Keiths prejiduce, the Keidran that found Trace just started humping away, remember, regardless of the fact that Trace was human, aka, the race that enslaved them. So it would seem it is not overly skewed.

That Keidran also didn't have a mind any more, resorting to nothing more than instinct. That's like having your dog hump your leg. Once there's no more consciousness, bets start coming off.

Here's the big question:
If the link was initially that strong, when Natani went into heat, we can assume it probably had some effect on Zen, right? Well, what if the effect on Zen was less analogous and more identical? I mean -- maybe Natani going into heat turned Zen gay! ;)

I supose it really depends on the extent of the link. In any case, they probably want to avoid the general incest problem. It is, after all, quite the big taboo.

I would be inclined to think that as assassins, with a (hopefully) vast knowledge of herbs and potions, I imagine a chemical solution could be concocted. Perhaps a sedative for Natani. And Zen, well, Zen can sate any urges by finding a receptive partner that is not his sister. It can't be that hard, he is apparently "Hot stuff", and there is such a thing as prostitutes.

But, I suppose it is possible, in a academic sense. I am going to pretend that they anticipated that though. For my own peice of mind.

Also keep in mind that all this would potentionally happen after they were linked, meaning Natani was in full-swing "I'm male, srsly" mood. Heat aside, with that strong of a psychosis, you'd never want anything reminding you that you are, in fact, female.
