I did not see this so i am setting it out there.

Who thinks that if he kills Natani, he will become anethema to trace and everyone else/ And that he would deserve to burn in the seventh Cirlce of Hell?

First off I don't think Tom has the balls to kill of Natani. If he does then props to Tom but I would say thats about a 98% chance of that not happening, and 2% chance because Tom might be getting all the story behind Natani out of the way just to kill her off.

In the comics, during the past 2 months, Keith is inside the hotel room and alone with Natani. Since Natani doesn’t suspect a thing about the Templar/Basitin's plot, Keith has the perfect opportunity to fulfill Alaric's order and strike her down, but now it seems he would rather do not nothing but get to know Natani a little better. I could be mistaken but it seems to me Keith is loyal to his friends more so than his country.

I wouldn't consider it ballsy to kill off Natani, but rather on the stoopid side. Natani is a wonderfully complex character, and she adds more to the story by being there, than she would by her absence.

C'mon, it's been tried, Twin Peaks died.

Keith has developed a friendship and Comraderie with this little oddball group, and he should be getting a wakeup call that Home again ain't all it's cracked up to be, if it requires killing someone with whom he's developed a friendship.

Then again, by defying this order, and helping bring down the tower thereby saving Basitin society, he ought to be made Grand Ye high muckety muck.

I am with everything Wynni said except for the last part.

Magic is worth any price.

Well, it depends on the story Tom wants to tell. Aeris DID die.

Don't get me wrong, I'd hate to lose Natani too, but look what he's done (!AGAIN!)... taken a severe character flaw, that he'd set us up to believe was out of stubbornness, and which was used for effective comic relief, and thrown a different light on it and did quite the turnaround... as always, I'm quite impressed with his storytelling.

Well, if (what I believe is) our collective guess is correct, the price is the death of everyone in the entire race... which seems slightly steep.

Death is merely a transitory state. :D

True, but compared to the dynamic and interesting aspects of Natani, Aeris might just as well have been a cardboard cut-out.

Good point.

Killing off Natani at this point serves no real purpose. Keith still doesn't have enough emotional attachment to justify it.

Laura, on the other hand, is a prime target for death. Keith's already got a history with her, will be very emotionally affected if she dies and as a bonus, Laura's character arc has more or less already ended by meeting Keith.

I'm 99% sure that Laura is gonna snuff it, and I so hope it is Alaric who does it... he's evil I tell thee!

Like you said, she has a emotive link to one of our leads, her story is pretty much told and TwoKinds needs a good death. We've come close twice (with the white wolf who's name escapes me and Zen), I want death... deeeeeath

Natani needs to confess her love for Keith before she dies, at the very very least.

I've heard from some folks that Tom was originally going to kill off Keith until readers grew attached to him. So maybe the same thing's going to happen to Natani?

:3 Kill her, for all I care.

Wow, not to insult any patriots here, but that is so how it should be...

Yeah, I really can't see Keith being THAT much of a jack-wad (eheheh... funny word...). I mean, he can be a jerk sometimes, but hey, so can I, and you don't see me killing my friends, do you?

Well... bad example, but you get hte point. =^.^=

Laura is a unintersesting secondary character who's only redeeming atribute only strengthens her boring nature.

So Sayeth the Spiffman!

Also: Fastchapter, you're just saying that because you want him to shack up with Alaric. Don't lie to me!
