Ok time to post non-crackpot theories as to what's going to happen by the end of the chapter and how. Such as Chaos reveals himself because [insert reason here] as and example.

Hawt Nat/Keith smexs and/or Keith killing Nat?

Okay, but just so you know, this thread WILL end up as a crackpot theory thread. Or, me talking about illicit activities I engage in with my pets...

Maybe, Alaric busts in, sees the 2 like that, and has a WTF moment, before realizing that Nat is a woman, then bursts out laughing.

I mean, it's not totally likely, but it'd be funny and cute. And, it would probably make her death moot.

I certainly hope these activities are robbing banks, jaywalking, and littering. Oh, and smuggling.

Keith will not kill Natani, of course, when the time of decision comes. He will stick to the party as they flee off the Basitin islands, chased by Templars and Basitin. Alaric is now one of the bad guys.

I retain my views that http://twokinds.comicgenesis.com/d/20080404.html will come into play. That part about "protected from orders to harm one another" seems too specific to have just been dropped in there by chance. However I think it is inevitable that Keith leaves with Trace/Flora so i have no idea what might happen afterwards.

Wow, that didn't even occur to me that it would apply elsewhere.... :shock:

But that would certainly solve a lot of problems--if Keith declared Natani his mate, he wouldn't have to follow his order to kill her, plus that would sure get it out in the open about his feelings for her, which might pave the way for her to reciprocate (eventually). I see no other way for the latter to happen....

Plus it'd clear things up with Laura (though that might be a bit of a heartbreak....).

EDIT: It'd also effectively force Natani out of the closet.... :roll:

Well, there's a gaping difference between what probably will happen and what I hope will happen. I'd be happy to see this side story get wrapped up soon, and that Flora will realize Trace is gone. Then we might be able to see the group work together as a team, rather than separate entities stripping down in various inns.

What will probably happen is that everyone goes to bed after this flashback, Flora won't question (or it won't be addressed) why Trace was gone that night. She'll bring it up, everyone will shrug it off, and they'll somehow slip into another minor plot line regarding either Alaric and Keith, Zen and Natani, or Eric and company. I dunno, thus far a lot of the story has been disappointing for me. :(

hey, wow! your actually right on the money with that one. I would have said "that's my feeling anyway", but I get a tendency to get flamed or ignored all together.

Update: sorry for posting twice....tried to fix it....didn't...uh...

:o Huh, that is interesting...Except National Security useally ends up trumping the means to get to the ends....but I guess that would depend how much Alaric thinks Natani is "dangerous" or a "threat".
