Everything that has a beginning, has an end. TwoKinds will end one day.

So... What would you love to see when that happens? Character spinoffs, a whole new story, sequels, prequels, etc, etc. Please don't give me something along the lines of: "No, TwoKinds will never, never end!"

I for one want to see the TwoKinds world in a more modern setting.

[edit] Like with all my other topics, I hope this doesn't get locked.

Well that depends, if theres a few lose ends that aren't dealt with by the end of the comic, then by all means I'd love a sequel. But if the comic is wrapped up nicely, everything taken care of in a satisfying manner, then by all means let it end.

Then Tom can begin working on another comic. :P

I really like the world the way it is now, maybe with an inverse spin to it. Female human, male keidren, or something diferent.

What comes after twokinds ends really depends on HOW twokinds ends. because it could end with a sort of "happily ever after" sort of feel and that kinda kills the chance for sequels.

however I think sequels would be the best, that way you can use the children of our current heroes (OMGZORZ KEITH HAS CHILDREN WITH SOMEONE!!11!!11one1!eleven) and maybe throw in characters from the original now and then.

the only reason I don't say prequels because, while I think most people don't want twokinds to end. They'll settle for the reuse of characters in a different adventure.

Got two (only going to talk about one)

first one

In the far southern reagion , is a city state named Maladentar (MaL-lA-den-tar) the city was found around 500 year ago by 20 human and keidren tribes (around 12 human 8 keidren) after a bloody war agiesnt a nameless race that once enslave them, the 20 head of each tribe became the 20 nobles. Over time the city avanced in techogly (can't make magic stone nor used templar magic due to the lack of 'nature' in the city) and at it's hiehgt had a population of almost half a million, the Noble families slowly marry into one around until there was about 14. Even having a small Templar chapter house and tower at one point. But then the templar attack their near by House Rosenbud, virtly destoying it befor the Militias are able to put their heads to the axe but not befor a templar captain overloaded the tower destoring a good part of the city, 50 years later the city is still in mass unrest, the Count famliy killing, with arch duke Cornwall of the keidren house Fellicas is now in control at the moment, the pesent live is short and dirty, the noble houses fight another for power senting the cities Militia legions and 'runners' (a type of police force that hunts down crimals made mosty out of pesents who REALLY need the money) to fight one another for them.

The story really isn't one, but smaller storyes that tie in wiht one another, one story could be Militias being sent to pull down a roevolt by farmers, while another is how that revolt effects the inner city pesents.

Ahem. I've got two nouns and a conjunction for you.

Wait for it...

Kathrin the Archmage!

Truly, it is made of pure win.

If you saw that at the bottom of your screen while reading the first part, your monitor is too big; get a smaller one.

Also, sorry if the post is too tall; you know; dramatic effect and the like.

Frankly, I think it would be interesting if (even if Tom doesn't feel like continuing the series with his own spinoff, sequal, etc.) some big part of the fanbase created their own spinoff after TwoKinds lowers the final curtain. TwoKinds will never really 'end' in my opinon. There will always be someone out there that would want to continue the series in some way, even if it ment doing it themselves. It's like if Square-Enix released the last Final Fantasy ever, it would most likely cause a massive boost in Final Fantasy fangames on the web.

Personally, I'd like to see the further adventures of Maren, Karen and Red-Hair...
;3

...or perhaps the tales from some far-flung human outpost, focusing on their dealings with the surrounding Keidran and the day-to-day dramas that fill daily life...

Kind've the DS9 of TwoKinds...
XD

I might get attacked by the twokinds faithful here but I think when it finally does come it an end it should stay finished. So many spin offs cheapen the original, the TV series Joey is massive proof of this. If it were handled correctly, and it was done to tell a new story that needed to be told then I supose it wouldn't be a bad thing but I don't know. It's probably just me :P

Dove here has the right idea. :3 Let's also throw in the children of Keith and not tell who the mother is, till near the end in a flashback. Lets also get some camos thrown in from Two kinds and we're set. :P

I'm against spin-offs generally although a side story about the red-hair guys group would be interesting.

A sequal would have to be about the children living up to their parents or Trace and Floras kid dealing with being a half-ling.

Or if the seriese ends in a kind of 2kinds ww1 scenario it could be about the "rebelion" or third party fighting under Ephemerals beleif, lets not forget that a war is what Chaos is attempting to incise.

Tom has been wanting to work on a Modern times comic for a while rather than working on a fantasy setting. He's gone over several stories with me before that he wants to do, but hasn't decided on any.

Oh and part of the old version of Twokinds did have a Keidran male and a human female... actually I think I had some pictures of the characters...

hmm it all depends i wouldn't mind seeing the whole 2 kinds universe spin off in other directions this may not be the greatest example look at star wars the series is over but they are still making games and books that are spin off stories of the original some people may say they are beating a dead horse but you cant argue that they have brought star wars to the next generation of kids... and wow i am with fatal on this one commence potential drooling now
