There's some sort of fast travel going on. I can't tell if it's related to the towers or if the Templar are simply teleporting (as Natani did with Zen). But news seems to travel really easily among the Templar, and the Master Spy is particularly mobile. Considering how expensive Natani considered teleporting (it was something that required a full mana stone to power anyway), I wonder if the Templar have found an easier/cheaper way, or if the mana storage of the towers simply makes them less complicated to use.
Euchre's implied that the towers are able to manipulate the Keidran in some way (which Dante noted), but we don't yet know how. That's obviously going to be a major reveal; perhaps something that Master Architect Randal will let slip.

wait a second...it says at the end it makes the templars go crazy...it could make Trace be all evil-Tracy again.
The towers already have. When Trace tapped out the tower that he ended up overloading and forcing to explode, he regressed into evil Trace and ended up getting a really nasty gash from Flora when he went to attack her.
After the tower blew,
Trace came to his senses (only to get sapped by Euchre).

Added the links to appropriate comics and changed the last sentence so that it awkwardly follows the comic's chronology (that way the links make more sense).
