Extremely stupid question and me being cheap time. Does it cost anything to vote. My brain and heart are both saying no, but my concience wants me to be careful. I think it wierd of me to actually be taking advise from a stupid cartoon cricket.

no, it doesn't. just:
1) click on flora holding the vote sign on toms main page
2) then chose the name of the character in the box
and your done. your vote has been cast and you can click continue to go see where twokinds stands.

EDIT: you can only vote once per day

I've been trying to do something about it for a few months now, but the only way Tom can really up his votes are with updates.

that, and with vote incentives like Sarah Ellerton does with 'The Phoenix Requiem.' usually they are just doodles she has done. or a new outfit for a character she is trying out.

as long as i've been reading (which is longer than i've been on the forum) Tom hasn't ever done vote incentives. sometimes i vote for Sarah's comic on BUZZ just to see the incentive if it sounds cool.

note: i never vote for her comic on twc because it competes with 2kinds of course

EDIT: however, you are right. when tom used to update predictably about 3 times a week, twokinds was always rated higher. (personally, I don't see how he found the time to do it)

We dropped to #16 and I think you might be able to vote multible times as fast as you want.

if you vote more than once per day you will get this message:

Quote:
"Vote Result: Your vote or a vote from a similar network address has already been logged for today, thank you

You can vote for this comic again in 6 hours, see you then!"

6 being the number of hours i have left before the next voting period starts.

Yes, but not if you close the window then press Tom's vote banner and click on the characters name then it would say "Vote Result: Your Vote was successfully registered" then repeat as much as you want.

I love loop holes.
:D

this is really weird. on firefox, it only lets me vote once. but on internet explorer it lets me vote more sometimes but still not always. hmmmm? :? :?

also, i dont notice the vote counter going up either (maybe it doesn't keep a real time tally and waits to tally them up at certain times?)

p.s. does anyone know what the difference between the 'votes in' column and the 'votes out' column? if so, please share. it boggles me.

It let me do it on Safari.

I've been wondering that too.

I think, and this is just what I suspect, nothing that I know, that a vote "out" is cast when you click on a banner from the site to visit that comic. That's been the only thing that makes sense to me, but I don't know if that's how it works or not.
