I've also noticed him in several other places, and I was just wondering... How the hell can this guy jump from town to town and from job to job and not recognise Trace? I mean seriously, who is he?

You really need to read the forums a little bit before posting stuff like this. It's been discussed a /lot/. It's part of the 'we've had this discussion a hundred times already' thread.

You could even just go locate the specific thread for his last appearance - the Basitin inn keeper - and see the discussion, or go to the specific thread for any of the comics he shows up in and see the discussions there.

I thought the author was pulling a stan lee.
if you did not know stan lee of marvel comics has made sure he has had a cameo in every movie/cartoon that was made from his comics.
