Bath time with the General -- ok that sounds weird.

You all knew this was coming-- well never mind- many of you didn't because you didn't actually read the comic but hey- its never too late...

Odd question, won't that towel/cloth around Alaric's waist get wet and useless from being in the water like that?

Not that I'm complaining that anything's being covered, it just strikes me as odd.

Yes it would, which is why there's extra towels beside the wash basin.

The towel is not being used as something to dry off with obviously. You haven't seen many things with public baths have you? In many places its customary to wear a thin towel while soaking, it makes sense that these people of all would follow that custom as prudish as they are.

And Keith did call him "General" on the docks, also, if you want direct referral.

Keith was just referring to his rank, he didn't call him General (with a capital G).

Emphasis here on 'show off' - consider also 'welcome to my private bath' - that a show of way of welcoming Keith (although it perhaps Tom's way to getting narrative across too.)

That wikilink you provided about Alaric's name basically proves he's incredibly powerful evil guy or an incredibly powerful good guy. At least with story cliches... which really means nothing, but it's all I have to run on right now.

It seems that Alaric has happier memories of their old friendship than Keith does...

He seems cheerful and friendly enough. But with something seeming just slightly off... not sure exactly what.

Glad the ladies are happy to see the two guys 'show off', but im interested in that eye.... It definatly seemed to be made by a claw, and i would asume the "who" is important, or at least somewhat.

No sign of Natani easedropping..... yet.

That makes me wonder. I think there is something with this girl that Alaric will hold in his favor because of the girls connection with Keith. But why will be really intersting to know if thats the case. And c'mon, we know Keith can't play it cool :P
