OK, this topic I would like to request be stickied. This thread will be devoted to news relating to 2kinds being published as a nationwide manga and, eventually, hopefully, aired on television as an anime. The first step in this is to get it published as a manga, and I believe I know the place to contact for that. I would like to request that those of you who would like to see twokinds published go to Shonenjump.com and send them an email, giving them your opinion on how well this comic will fit in with the ones they already publish. For those of you not familiar with Shonen Jump, check it out first to find out how you think it will. Two rules for doing this. First, DO NOT LIE about Two Kinds, if there is an area you don't think will fit in, then do NOT say it will. Second, DO NOT SPAM THEM! I know from personal experience that there is nothing more annoying than getting 50 different emails on the same topic from the same person. One email per person please, but try to be as convincing as possible, and be as mature as possible. None of the "OMFG, 2KINDS IS AWESOME, YOU SHOULD PUBLISH IT" type thing, please. Those of you who subscribe to Shonen Jump, tell them how much you would enjoy being able to pick up a copy of Two Kinds, published by your favorite manga publisher in the US. Those of you who don't currently subscribe, imply you might be willing to subscribe if Two Kinds were among their manga list. OK, I think that's it. Who's with me?

Shonen Jump? Haven't even heard of them.
Dark Horse owns. >:D
But that's beside the point.

BTW, imagine if they got nasty voice actors for the anime...I know most animes do have horrid voice acting, with a couple exceptions (NGE and Cowboy Bebop). But if it had good voicing...
Steven Jay Blum would make an awesome...somebody.

Anybody, really. The voice of Spike Spiegel owns.

Well, this is assuming that Tom will remain in charge of the manga and anime, thus would have (at the very least) a say in who the voice actors/actresses would be. Tom would not let someone do a characters voice if the voice did not fit, I know!

Shonen jump is a huge magazine over in Japan, many anime's make their big appearance there. And I don't have a problem with the Japanese voice actors (I prefer sub titles anyways), haven't really seen any that got on my nerves, it's when it gets redone for whatever channel feels like editing it to ruin and slapping their own lousy voice actors in place with little thought (I'm lookin at you Cartoon Network, although they didn't mess Tri-Gun up too bad). Anyways I can't really see Two Kinds ending up animated.

Isn't there a forum specifically for this topic, and this thread is pretty much completely redundant?

As cool as an anime would be if done right, has he ever once mentioned that he was going to go through with anything like this? Even if he did, shouldnt we leave it all to him seeing that its HIS web comic.

has anyone thought about the fact the he may not even want 2kinds to become a anime. the comic is just his hobby he may not even want to have to be burdened with something such as having the responsibility of an actual anime.

just because toms the artist dosent mean he actually has power over these things. their are people higher up that can negate or change his decisions on the anime.

/i would like 2kinds to be an anime but only if tom actually wants it.
//and the chances that a large manga comic will actually listen to us and hire the artist of a webcomic is actually pretty low unless we get a few million people to send them an email.

Me! I was gonna try and subscribe anyway.

But are there really enough comic chapters for twokinds to be in ShonenJump? We have 10 1/2 sure but the pressure on tom to come out with a new chapter every month would be alot. But i'd still cast my vote, Twokinds=awsome anime prospect man.

I agree, Tom should be the one to decide, though why he wouldn't want to have a comic this good be animated is beyond me. So, I will put it to Tom. Tom, if a publishing company, such as Shonen Jump, Dark Horse or the like, were to contact you regarding the publication of Two Kinds, how would you respond?
A: You would accept
B: You would decline
C: You would have to think it over
D: Other (please specify)
