He's a great guy, self-sacrificing, willing to tell people hard truths and...

He gets yelled at for helping (Natani!).

Dang!

My prediction: He's back together with his old flame from his youth, explaning that he may be let back home, they're about to reconcile, and Natani busts (har) in wanting to apologize for yelling at him, tripping and falling into his arms.

Like I say, Poor Keith!

If I had to make a guess though, I'd say Keith doesn't so much find an old flame as he might meet his parents. I mean, who doesn't want to see him introduce Natani as his boyfriend, hah!

But Keith's family are all dead. That's why he was exiled in the first place--he was charged (it's implied to us that he's innocent) with the murder of his family.

nah, i figure trace will yell at him for cheating with flora, and maby toss him into a tree or something, then Natani will start yelling at him... hes just too nice a guy, and he always gets the short straw... :( poor Keith is right...

um he wouldn't because he's not even posing as Natani's anything.

Funny how VERY easy it's become to imagine bad, bad things happening to him :-)

That'd probably be because bad things always happen to him.

yea... he gets the short end of the straw all the time... thrown into a tree, flora dumps food all over him, he gets arrow'd(lol), nearly whacked by trace's magic(but flora saves him.... once), and thats not all of the physical stuff thats happened to him... not to mention all of the embarrassment hes suffered... like almost every 20 comics hes gotten embarrassed atleast once..

Not to mention he keeps getting guard duty, butler duty, and otherwise servant duty for everyone.

As I've said before,

He's the story's hard-...er tail.

and bad....tail...

He's always trying to be cool, and chilled, but ends up being the Butler/door guard.

Oooh... just had another bad-for-Keith scenario pop up:

Keith is all proud of bringing Trace for these unspecified political reasons, but of course he's still under a cloud (and possibly in big trouble for returning when banished) but they're willing to grant him probation.

So Trace finds out about Flora being "in the family way" and goes ballistic... WAY WAY WAY overboard-as-only-Trace-can ballistic.

And everyone points to Keith and says YOU BROUGHT HIM...!

Of course, on the plus side, maybe Natani will be the one to bust (har) him out of jail.

Just want to apologize for making the same stupid joke twice in a row. It was completely unplanned, both time. No, really!

Why are you looking at me that way?

Here's a scenario for you:

The party wanders about the Basitin city only to run across Laura, who, based on his reaction to the illusion, Keith still has some feelings for. They toy with getting back together, which drives Natani virtually insane with jealousy. Then she discovers that the person they think is Laura is actually an elite Basitin assassin, skilled in the magics of disguise, sent to get close to the group so she could kill Trace quickly and quietly if he's deemed a threat to the Basitins. She reveals this to Keith, and he goes to confront the not-Laura, who decides the only way to protect her mission is to kill Keith. Natani intercedes, becoming wounded in the process. Keith gathers her up in his arms and they have a conversation, like,

Keith: "Natani? You're going to be okay, I promise. I can't believe you just jumped in front of those daggers like that."
Natani: "Well, Keith, I couldn't just let you die like that. I think I--"
Enter Trace and Flora.
Trace: "OMGWTFPMOFBURUNDI!"

And so the fanbase is left drooling for the rest of the conversation.

well he is misunderstood people think he's gay and some think that he turned natani from boy to girl so yea he does have it pretty tough

People think he can turn guys into girls...tehy think he's gay...they think he murdered his parents...yeah he's got it rough why doesn't Nat just admit that's she's a girl? One curse of Kieth's bad luck would be thrown off his chest. Also he's way to sexy to have it this rough! AM I RIGHT?!
