and al is a lot taller than keith. and with the natani walking and commenting about height, he must be rather large for a bastin. unless their social hierarchy is based on height 0.o

Keith does look so innocent in that next to last panel. And I'm guessing the Bastian behind him was the General. Still wondering what's going to be his solution to his "girl problem"

What girl problem wonder I? :3 Still it's pretty sharp eyed of the general to recognize that as a smile in the third panel.

keith was also on his "bad eye" side. i wonder if his "bad" eye actually isn't blind after all. maybe it's special, like natani's, except it allows him to see everything. (or maybe alaric was just staring at keith....that's kinda creepy)

anyways, keith has no girl problem. having 3 girls after you is not a problem. It's a blessing. :D

Aw, little Keith and little Alaric.

I love the addition of "scrawny" into the list of adjectives that Alaric uses to describe Keith. It's such a nice little detail.

I think this comic is the one that really defines the general as a good guy (as opposed to a bad guy pretending to be a good guy with something up their sleeve >_>).
This reminds me of a couple of my friends, when everything has changed and I've forgotten all about the times before the current situation, they say one thing that makes all those memories flood back. Then, seeing the similarities, I can accept the current predicament and look on to what is ahead.

ahem...

Anywho, I doubt that the general was staring at Keith. Generals have to have a sharp eye, or they probably wouldn't survive. Or it could be part of the blindfold training, sensing emotions without seeing the face.

I think the "girl problem" that is mentioned before is talking about the unknown girl that he has yet to meet, because as we all know, Keith has no girl problem.

Edit: sry, missed a comic. I think what people mean by his girl problem is that keith has so many girls chasing him and he has to choose one.

This is such a sweet comic. So much for the "Poor Keith" moment.

See the twinkle in Alaric's eye at the old memories. I'm half expecting him to hug Keith again. :P But that might be too much. He doesn't look like he wants Keith all riled up again.

Great comic, I really enjoyed this one. Alaric doesn't seem like a bad guy at all, also interesting to see Keith actually smile.

Definently an interesting turn here. Allthough I can't decide if the general still has some thing up his sleeve. Even if they were friends in old times I can't really tell if its a friendly agenda still. Things change as people mention.

Alaric had to expect that Keith build itself a shell afterall he was throw on a raft it was likely that he will have food problem. It was almost a death penality but he managed to survive. After he reaches in a stange place where problem run on him. It's normal that he changes.

And about the size, Alaric isn't much taller that Keith. My guess is that Alaric stand currently on a little mound that make him appear taller that he really is. Keith is 5'8", he's not small. It's Natani that is tall.

Keith's smile in the last panel, goes to show how good of friends they are, and that Alaric has to be good, in one way or another... i suppose
