In the second panel, is Trace saying what the old Trace would have said, or is that present Trace's words?

Yes thats what his Old trace would say. Except there is a minor confusion in the last panel.

awww :cry: i thought i was going to post first

The new trace is using the words of old trace this is somewhat disturbing and troublesome. It would appear he is turning back to his old ways very slowly.
plus trace has quite a few scratches on his back, not suggesting anything of coarse :roll:

That's Trace there man, he's being Trace. His way of thinking has been slowly changing for awhile now. Those are "present trace's" words alright. He actually thinks that. Sounds jealous to me.

I think thats just Trace repeating something he found in the journal, and wondering he would write that.

Looks to me like the old Trace is surfacing('bout fricken time). Apparantly with the return of Traces memorys come the return of his hate for Keidran. And as his hate for Keidran as a whole grows his love for Flora stays the same. (crap).
