In the second and third comics, there is a minor inconsistancy.

In the second comic, a thought bubble reveals Mr. Random Stranger has trouble remembering Trace. But in the third comic, R.S. begins gloating that he wiped Trace's memory.

Don't hurt me...

Do you not know anything about story and plot? How about thinking before you post?

Why oh why would a guy talk think like that? Could it possibly be-- OH! He's acting! OMG! Who would have thought that a speech or thought bubble could be used to make you think one thing until the truth is revealed?

Reading something and taking it one way without thinking "maybe he did it this way so the character would have the right expression he would need to fool Trace - and to fool the reader."

But noooo-- you read it and say "OMG! I gotta make a post on the forum about something because i read this a bit differently than it was meant to and I dont want to take the time to think it over! It must be a mistake! OMG!"

Oh and while im at it-- next time you double post your posts will just be deleted rather than merged (this is not about this topic - its another topic i just got through with fixing)

The thought bubble that says "Who does this guy think he is" makes sense, since the Mask character wiped Trace's memory, but the bubble that says "Wait, he looks like..." makes no sense because the guy knows who Trace is. It would make more sense to put that in a SPEECH bubble, not a THOUGHT bubble.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. Sage, you're a master at stupid answers. Did you live a pampered childhood? You deserve to be backhanded for throwing your tampers. [don't edit this because I'm sure there's plenty of people who agree]

I disagree yojimbo. if you have a problem with the way Sage handles things PM Tom and take your complaints with him, don't take matters into your own hands and indulge in childish insults. That's just abyssmally foolish and it clutters the thread with needless vitriolic banter between members that quite frankly, never goes anywhere.

Not to mention I'm sinking to Sage's level

And, finally, to put the entire issue to a steady close.

You're forgetting that the man himself is not Neutral, but instead a body which neutral is using to operate. Thus, the thoughts and feelings of the man and the mask who is using him are quite seperate. The host himself may not have even been aware of the fact that a mask was using him.

So, instead of an early inconsistency, this is an early insight into how the masks operate.

Yojimbo if you want to continue to be a part of this community i suggest you learn soon that there's a reason I'm a global moderator.

I don't need to be nice to people that act before they think, I don't need to kindly tell someone they are wrong when I have said it a hundred times, and I don't have to put up with people that constantly cause problems-- so if you want to continue thinking negative of me it is far easier to just have to banned.

If you have been around for 4 months and just now you have a problem with the way I handle things you have a choice to either get over it, join in, or leave. I check most of what I say to make sure things are legit and correct - my answer states that theres more than one way to look at it much like ktemkin pointed out -- and you should know by now that Tom will do a lot just to make sure something stays a secret.

I'm almost daily in contact with Tom, mostly just talking and having fun and showing off to each other but I also know a bit about how he thinks and feels more so than a lot of the "fans" here. And you too would be annoyed if every day some guy posted a "zomg! Natani is a guy!" post after having a thread devoted to Natani and ending that argument already.

It's also a pain when people post their theories and ideas that have already been proven wrong-- why do they do this? They dont take the time to think before they act.

Sure I could post nicely "Sorry but you are mistaken- See the reason for that blah blah blah- And thats why he did that. Would you like a puppy?"

Or i could just delete the post-- but then we have those stuborn people "ZoMG! Where didz my postorz go to!?" so naturally they post it again and it gets deleted again and I have to send them a message--

"But Sage! You should always send a message to people who's posts you delete!"

Do yall know how much spam gets put on this board daily? Im lucky my work is all on a computer so i can clean up the board in a couple minutes when i have a small break. Some days there are one or 2 some days theres 20-40 posts that are just spam that i delete- Thats not including what the other mods do.

Now believe it or not I am a nice guy (yes yes-- hard to believe) - but being nice doesnt solve half the problems we have-- you dont ask a Troll nicely to go away. It doesnt work --- so often i have to be angry Sage... got it?

I'm almost afraid to say this now after your lovely speach Sage, but shouldn't this topic be locked? It has become rather off topic and the original conversation should have been on the FAQ board to begin with.

I'm just saying, so please do not try and murder me.

it wouldnt be in the FAQ board because it isnt really a question ya know? But it will be locked later - I'm giving people a chance to post on the subject- get their 2 cents in so we dont have people complaining about it in different threads-- best to get it all out while we can :P
