you know that if women spend too much time together then their menstrual cycles get syncronised? well, what if the same applys to heat cycles to keidran females? what's going to happen on that ship?
hypothetical scene: '(keith walks into slave quaters) "hey, is there a-" "look! a man!" "he's mine!" "get him!" *keith runs away from legeon of heat keidran*'

In theory that’s correct, provided Eric has a ship randomly filled with Keidran slaves which are due on (pardon the expression)

true, but if they're all female (which would make sense, as erics a perv and they don't want to feed any baby keidran) then surely they would all jump on the first male with fur they saw due to a lack of sex. a similar thing happens in prisons, only they revert to homosexual behavior.
