This is from a comic from a while ago, ((End of July, to be exact)), but... I don't want to be gravedigging. >< I dunno...

http://twokinds.keenspace.com/d/20050729.html

In the bottom left panel, does Natani mean to "be with a Kiedran" or to "be a Kiedran?" It makes more sense in the former, but... :/

Please don't hurt me if I wasn't supossed to make this! *whimpers and hides* Gravedigging is bad...

It's a little clumsy, but I'm pretty sure it's meant to be the latter.

His heart's desire is a person. For that person to be "a Keidran" makes sense in terms of the story. And of course Natani has trouble accepting that a Basitan and a Keidran have hooked up.

But if that person wants to "be with a Keidran," it just doesn't make sense at all. That's the whole problem, someone jumped in and took advantage of her. Keith definately doesn't want that.

No, there's a different. "To be a Kiedran" means that Kieth wants to become a Kiedran, like Flora/Laura. "To be with a Kiedran" means that he wants a Kiedran for a mate/wife. @_@

I know it might seem akward, but it is correct english. "Why would his heart's desire (subject) be a Kiedran?" In english, Keidran would refer to "heart's desire," not Keith. If you wanted to say it like you are thinking, she'd have to say "Why would his heart's desire be to be a Keidran?" That sounds akward, but it's just the way it goes. I could have worded it like this: "Why would his heart's desire be for a Keidran?" But it didn't occure to me at the time.

Lobo Leo's comic! :D I would read it, but back when it took minutes at a time to load each page, I gave up. It's better now, but twokinds is good enough at the moment. :D
