uh oh... Trace woke up.... and he has an evil look in his eye... That Silver dragon better kick some butt to snap Trace out of it, or he might hurt Flora and their baby...

The feeling that something bad is going to happen as a literary device is called foreshadowing. This is foreshadowing. Very much so.

And the white dragon's legs are unbearably smexy.

Ummm, humans and kiedran can't have babies together. Remeber that it was biologically impossible? I just can't remember who said it and when it was said.
