How will the"murder" go?
Keith backstabs her as she's changing (allusion to stabbing Zen) 6%  6%  [ 5 ]
Keith challenges her to a fight, one on one to the death. (or any variation of) 8%  8%  [ 7 ]
Other (please explain in detail) 15%  15%  [ 12 ]

I dont understand why, with their big military, they can't just kill her themselves. :?

Because Natani's death is actually beside the point. The real reason behind the order is to test Keith's loyalty to the Basitin regime. If he will follow orders here, then he is a good Basitin, whose loyalty to his country is unquestionable, and who will stand by his countrymen even if his friends oppose them. If all they wanted was for Natani to die, then, yes, the Basitins could take care of that themselves. Truth told, they don't really care. In fact, they probably resent that the Templar are giving them orders. But if they can do a favor for the Templar which just so happens to accomplish a separate goal they want (testing Keith's loyalty), then so be it. It's a convenient means to their end.

These are the sort of questions that came into my mind while reading Tom’s latest work, and after doing my philosophy homework. I know, every time my college life and online life merge together it scares me too.

Anyway, I believe that Keith will eventually answer these questions with some soul searching before he dose anything. For the record, since I am a KeithxNatani fan I chose “he won’t do it”.

My prediction is that he'll find, with Alaric's help, some way of either faking her death, or deciding not to go through with at all, and instead continuing on with Trace and Flora. I have my reservations that Keith will simply up and murder Natani.

He is bound by his duty to attempt to murder Natani. He may try to provoke Natani into killing him so he won't have to kill her. But then again... Natani would be further emotionally damaged and unstable if that happens...

As a basitan, it is either do your mission, or death basically.

Ah, I see now. I personally don't think that Keith will betray his group just so that he could remain with people who exiled him.

I don't know what's scarier: That he's right or that I thought that too when I read it...

Also, everyone seems to be forgetting Laura. Keith won't kill Natani, but will be forced to choose between them and the other must die (Can anyone say Batman Forever?) (This ones for you fast>) On the other hand, He, Natani, Laura and Alaric all move on to the hidden village (after saving Trace and Flora) where its they toast their victory with some "milk" which turns out to be the special Keidran drink. You imagine the rest.

(sorry about the noncoherence of most of that, no sleep+homework+caffiene=:P brains
