in the ( now if i get the date wrong don't kill me i am guessing) July 2nd comic, in the last panel Keith is staring at the wall his thoughts obviously on the fact that he has to kill Natani before nightfall. now my question is will he do it?

What no "Nobody" option? Cause thats what I'm thinking hes going to do, kill no one.

3 for Alaric. He's not nice, ordering Keith to kill a friend. Who does that?

A person who is unaware of Keith's relationship with Nat, and part of a race that upholds law and order above all else, order which they tried Keith and found him guilty of breaking, meaning he has to prove he's learned his lesson? What Alaric did was entirely reasonable, he had someone who needed to be killed and someone to use to do it. It's not his fault Keith wants to be in a relationship with the target.

I think Nat should get the 'ole slashed neck trick.

...uh, you do realize his only task was to bring Trace back with him, which leads me to believe they're leading him around with the "prove your loyalty" bit. That and the fact that father had commited murder, and tried to kill him, meaning self-defence, and he still got banished.

His fake task.

His task was supposed to be impossible. It was a "GTFO but pretend you can come back." He still needs to carry out orders, cause that's what he has to do as a Bastian.

As for the murder, he was convicted. End of story.

Nonetheless, it was the only task assigned to him in order for him to return. nothing about extra tasks. I think one of the Basitan generals is planning to rebanish him upon completion of his task under some vague law.

Again, his task was to bring back Trace.
His duty as a Bastian is to follow the orders of his society. Alaric is entirely due a test of loyalty from Keith, as he is a general. It may not even be to the Bastains in general, I think it's a test from Alaric.

Besides, kill a Keidran that for all Alaric knows you're only a little buddy buddy with isn't unreasonable.
