....is the main charecter no?...then why is it....

unless he's going evil crazy, he's the most boring character?
I think He's almost like a foil to everyother main character.

and he's definetly the least talked about...what have we been talking about lately?

- Natani's breasts
- Flora's (not so much as large as Natani's) breasts
- MikexEvals
- KeithxAlaric
- Keith sandwiches (multi-relations)
- Incest (my fault)
- Keith is a girl
- Tom drawn as a girl

You know, did you ever think, "gee I wonder what they're going to do with Trace?"? No? I bet you didn't, cause you probably don't care or didn't even notice. Well it's hard not to when his only redeeming traits are 2 very oppasite things. He is either a.) An Awesome evil power demon king (kinda rare now a days) or b.) half a normal person with half a clue (which is about the chance of you turning on your tv....within the year) with a keidran girlfriend.

I don't know what's going to happen to Trace, but I'll tell you what I told Avwolf what I'm waiting to happen to him.

"I'm just waiting for the day the group goes for a nice little walk till Dull boring regular Trace become Super Evil Man Trace. Going for the Keidran within sight he throws Nat and Flora against a tree or something. Using some kind of magic he pins them to the tree (or something) choking the precious breaths of life out of them. That is, untill it's time for Keith Keiser to save the day!...with what day saving a fruity furry like he can do right now. Keith has a sword, Trace has "imagination transform to Reality" magic for a weapon. Dosen't sound like a fair fight does it? Luckily Keith does have an Ace in the whole by using a technique he learned from Alaric.

He can overload Trace's evil mind of insanity with...more insanity when he get's an opening and uses "Kiss". [Now! pok'eball, go!]

{Apparently, Avwolf said this very technique was used in the movie "Get Smart" in order to bewilder the bad guys...never saw the movie, but sounds awfully stupid to be "smart".}

...this will result with several effects.

- Traces becomes so furious and Angry with this humilation, he passes out
- Keith goes "...*ahem*..."
- Flora (saved) develops a fettish for Keith making out with Trace
- Natani (saved) being apparently the most normal bi-sexual transgender on the scene is going to ROFL.

But what I want to happen is when Trace wakes up, he'll gain a little more character with this new "rememberable" trauma. So the next time something surprsing happens he can say more than "blarg!"

See, if you'd seen Get Smart you'd know that Maxwell Smart gets by more on luck than intelligence. :P

I've said before, Trace is a character who is representative of us all, but not one we like. We see Trace as uninteresting, paralyzed by his ambivalence, or unthinking in his words and actions. Trace has been permitted lately, by virtue of the plot, to float along for a while. His life is about to get much more interesting. We had the battle for Flora's soul. It's time to have the battle for Trace's. When this is said and done, Trace will have made some choice, or had them made for him. He chose Flora before, and again more recently. Next, before they make it off these isles, Trace will declare his love for her so all may hear, including Flora herself. Mark my words. Trace has long been emotionally adolescent, and he's about to hit something which is going to force him to grow up.

Again, as I've said before, while the point of the overarching plot is Trace and Flora's relationship, right now, we're at a point where they're stalled out. Trace has little reason to take things further than they are. He's comfortable. Flora would like more, but she's not going to press. They don't even know that they might have a little one on the way, but until that affects the story, it's a non-issue. So we've been watching the other two kinds of the story: Keith and Natani, as their acquaintence blossoms to friendship, and, unless all us 'shippers are wrong, something more. The time for Keith to make a decision on that is nigh, and I think that decision will break the stalemate of Trace's relationship and force him back into the spotlight.

I just inherently dislike Trace because he looks like he's 15 years old. :wink:

I dislike anyone who isn't Flora or Natani. :P

On a more serious note: I agree. Trace is kind of boring. :/ I never really thought about it before but I'm never excited to see his face. Not even the "evil" Trace. He hasn't brought many humorous things to the comic either, in my opinion.

it's not that I don't like Trace, it's just that I like everyone else (just about) better. >.< I'm being completely serious by the way.

Well I guess im the only one who remembers Trace being funny. I like Trace, and I hope im not the only one who thinks that. Anyway I hope you're right av I want Trace to come back to the spotlight.

I also never really thought about this before, either but there are a lot of characters that I don't like in this comic... o-o;

Kat, Eric, Laura, the Basitins other than Alaric and Keith... any of the tribe Keidran other than Zen, Natani and Flora... Basically, anyone who isn't Mike, Natani, Flora, and Keith. Everyone else is either alright, or I dislike.

Trace kinda reminds me of someone I wouldn't like. I think hanging out with him would bother me. I'd want to punch him in the mouth...
EDIT: I think it's because of some things that he's said/done to Flora in the past that make me not like him..

Trace is one of my favorite characters. Sure, as a protagonist he's not the most interesting guy, unlike Monk or Lelouche (I think I spelled it right) but I always like the dark side thing at least one character of a show always seems to have, and I really don't know how he could have been made differently for the comic.

He seems so boring, so standard. Just not really interesting.

I personally like Trace. He reminds me of myself, with the "OMG I don't know what to do!!!" -ness.

1. fast chapter is right trace looks too young
2. blue hair?
3. most of the other characters are more interesting
4. he's probably suppose to represent what we would do in the situation because we would have no experience dealing with the kind of stuff he has to

I hate Trace. I want him to turn evil, not so that he's cooler, but so that the other characters will have to kill him. Then the story can really get going.

As for Trace becoming evil, thumbs up. For having the other characters kill him, reverse it and I'm giving it green light.
